Frederick Visitor Center

A beautifully set up Welcome Center that draws you in right away and you realize quickly how much variety and things Frederick County has to offer in All Seasons. The 6 min video is full of info and great sceneries. Staff is very friendly! Clean Restrooms as well and Free parking! So glad I stopped in!

The Visitor center should be a first stop if you're a first time visitor to Frederick. It's a lovely facility, housing many historical displays and artifacts. An introductory film provides an excellent overview of the various features the city/county has to offer--along with countless pamphlets to help you decide how best to use your time most meaningfully. Most helpful of all was the suggestions , directions, and information provided by the incredibly helpful and knowledgeable people behind the desk who truly Welcomed us to Frederick and spent quite some time tailoring a downtown walking tour to our specific interests.

After visiting Visit Fredrick, there’s no shortage of idea on how to enjoy Frederick. With helpful staff, the center comes with exhibits, artifacts, an informational video, and plenty of brochures on everything to do in the area from nature to history to food. The center has free parking, restrooms, and drinking fountains too.

Super historical and super clean city. Visitor Center staffs are very nice. I wish I'd have had more time there.

Place to learn about frederick and its rich history. They have a good collection of exhibits and artifacts. The staff were very warm and welcoming.

Very well organized visitor center. They have free wifi with fast connection. Friendly staff. Ask for a Frederick movie in the theater. This place is like a museum with plenty of information about history of Frederick.

The ladies working here were very polite, friendly and helpful. Found exactly what I was looking for. The exhibits are interesting and informative. The layout is easy to understand and the center as a whole is quite lovely.
