Well worth the $$. See Hampton and Norfolk from a different perspective. Tour is a solid 3 hours through the Hampton River and ChesapeakeBay. Drinks, snacks beer and wine available on the boat. Very informative, fun and relaxing tour. See the ships, carriers and subs from the water. Observe cargo ships passing through the port and sometimes a dolphin or two. Tour guides are very knowledgable and the captain is experienced. A worthwhile boat trip for all ages and fun for a family.

$32/person for a lovely trip through the harbor. Mark was our narrator who is a fabulous historian. Things you otherwise wouldn’t know ie a hotel on the water is now an elaborate senior housing facility. Paradise grill was an old officers club during WW 2. Many naval ships and the history behind them ie some can hold 1000 marines, some have 600 bed hospitals. These are sights and tips I otherwise would not know. Another little known fact, you can lease houses, right on the water from the ft Monroe authority. This was a nice way to spend an afternoon. Currently, the boat only makes 1 excursion per day at 11:00 am.

I've been on this cruise a few times and I see something new every time. This week we saw many navy ships, two submarines, dolphins, and an up close view of a massive cargo ship. I'd recommend this to anyone. The price is perhaps too low for the experience you get!

Very good boat tour. This boat now stops at Fort Wool, which is an historic military fort that sets in the Elizabeth river across from Fort Monroe.

This tour was very disappointing. Two of the staff were rude throughout the entirety of our time with them (the first mate was very friendly and seemed to actually enjoy his job!). We couldn't hear the guide well from our seats downstairs and couldn't go above because we had children under 7 with us. They don't allow you to even bring water bottles, the snacks and drinks are cheap and over-priced, and they only allow credit cards by writing down your card information on a paper. They could do a better job preparing customers with more information given in the confirmation email or on the website. Also the women's toilet was unacceptable to put it nicely. I am astonished by the good reviews I saw... it seems like those are private events or maybe I was unlucky.

Beatiful day for a great three hour tour. Ben was an excellent narrator! We enjoyed getting to walk around Fort Wool.

Cruise on the Miss Hampton II was great!!!. Jim told us all the history of the area and talk about each ship as we went by. Food was good and stop at Fort Wool was interesting. We thank the crew for a great time.
