Oak Hollow Marina

The park is great, my daughter absolutely loves that she can play and climb up high and see the lake. I just wish there were a fence around the playground itself for the moms with younger children, bc they can dart for the water in an instant and that's a scary thought! But other than that, it has a few slides, a swing area, and plenty for the kids to do! Perfect place for birdwatching too.

One of the best spots to soak in the beauty of Oak hollow lake, they host so many events like rowing races, monthly movie nights, you can also take your boats and kayaks or rent from there, so many spots to sit and enjoy a picnic day and a fresh newly made kids play area.

Oak Hollow Marina remains an enjoyable place, particularly in the morning when it tends to be quieter. During the warmer months, you will of course find more folks using the facility, which sadly means more trash left behind by thoughtless, self-centered, poor in spirit individuals who treat nature like their own personal dumping ground. Also on the rise are the number of people who show up to smoke marijuana and then drive while high. Disgraceful. Occasionally you'll find people drinking there, too, despite that not being allowed. I have no problem with either booze or dope, just not here and certainly not before driving. All of this aside, it is a mostly pleasant place nestled into High Point.

The folks out there are so friendly and helpful. The lake is beautiful and one of the cleanest in our area. We took kayaks and paddle boards and had a fabulous day on the water!

Visited the Marina for the High Point Triathlon. As a spectator, the location was very accomodating. Only thing I'd note is that for large events, once the paved lot is full, over-flow parking is in grass lots. Just something to be mindful of if you have a choice in vehicles or want to arrive onsite earlier.

The park across the lake from the actual marina is fun. It's a nice playground for young children. They can climb, swing, and slide. They were all having a great time! Of course, parents need to be watching them at all times. We saw a "near miss" with a child of no more than 2 years old.

Quite, calm and relaxing. This place offers all of this. For fishing, its better than lake view park in high point. Just make sure you come early to get the best spot, preferable under a tree of its 90 degrees outside. Enjoy
