I’ve been curious about a store like this with an arcade for a while. Reading the reviews this sounds like a great place and - did I read that right? Women owned, is that right?! As a Cis woman, would I be safe coming to Ty it out alone? Or should we plan for my fiance to come with? And is there a better time or day of the week? Lol. I have so many question all the way down to what to wear. So any advice (from the owner here) or on X from anyone who’s been or has thoughts would be oh so appreciated. On X I’m: sarahreed7959
Went there with my girlfriend to partake in some adult activities in the arcade area. Was immediately greeted by an older woman shouting at us that we weren't allowed to be in the same booth. (Absolutely weird) OK, whatever, so we go into seperate booths. My girl did not have her purse as we were out at the bars. So I had to slip her money to keep the movies going. As I'm digging through my wallet to find dollar bills, the woman is shouting and banging on the booth door as well as violently shaking the door handle to the booth my gf was in. We have never had a bad experience at an adult shop until this week. She was unprofessional and rude. "Paul Blart the porn shop police." Would not recommend this place to any couples, unless you're into being degraded in public.
I paid visit in my last trip to Hawaii. The two men up front were very cordial. One person went out of their way to remind me to watch my bag. Love this place, and the two women turned me on to the karaoke bar downstairs. Great place, great staff, clean, and they have everything.
I feel the need to warn people about this place… it is the worst store I’ve ever been to. The moment I got there an older lady from the front was complaining and yelling at everyone. Super disrespectful. Was a complete jerk. I could tell she’s probably dealt with some people she doesn’t like but was still an awful experience. If you need to buy anything to have fun with just quickly buy and leave. Honestly if you know any other place to buy play materials, go there instead. I DO NOT recommend you stay for any of the video arcade stuff. I don’t ever take the time to write reviews but this was so bad that I had to warn other people about this place. Won’t be giving this place my business anymore. I don’t care how much I want anything. It’s the principle about how they treat others. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would.
If I could give negative stars, I would. The moment you walk in, the man at the counter treats you like you owe him a million dollars. No greeting, no explanation — just a hostile attitude from the start. Apparently, you’re supposed to already know their system: the booths are paid via a machine, but he is so impatient to explain. I had just stepped into the booth for one minute when he banged on the door demanding payment — no courtesy, no professionalism. When I asked for a receipt or record of the failed card transaction, he couldn’t provide anything. Instead, he acted like a child — impatient, rude, and extremely unprofessional. Honestly, if he hates his job or is under stress, maybe it’s time to consider a different career, because taking it out on customers is not okay. To be honest, I’ve been to many similar places, and this one had the worst customer service by far. It’s shocking that this is allowed to operate in a tourist area — you’d expect basic hospitality and clarity, not to be treated with suspicion or disdain. And honestly, it made me wonder — is this hostility personal or even racial? I truly hope not, but the vibe was very uncomfortable. In short: avoid this place. Confusing system, aggressive staff, and no respect for paying customers.
Extremely low quality products and bad service. I went to complain that their product never worked after charging it and they just said that happened and they are not gonna do anything for it.
The arcade is great.. great location. But the staff..... my god. They have Dwight Schrute runinng around with 9,568,656,765 jangling keys. How can this place have soooo many keys. And this guy cleans the booths like every 7 seconds. Still a good experience but keys master needs a reminder in how bills are paid here.
