Union Station Kansas City

Union Station is absolutely breathtaking! The architecture alone makes it worth the trip — grand, historic, and full of character. Once inside, there’s so much happening you could spend hours exploring. From the festive Christmas displays to the science museum and mini rail museum, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Add in the great selection of restaurants, cafés, and places to relax, and it becomes a destination in its own right. A truly brilliant place to visit — highly recommended!

This place is absolutely stunning piece of history! Reminds me of the scene in the Untouchables movie. Beautiful old school architecture, you can just imagine how it was back in the day as a train station. I went to their Christmas lights display and the titanic exhibit. Both were so enjoyable.

A historic landmark and transit hub for Kansas City MO. The building is grand and magnificent. Holiday decorations are very holly jolly. Shops, restaurants and museums inside the station. Wonderful idea for visitors. It’s very busy all the time. Bathroom is clean. Not many public seats or benches at the main hall. We went to the science museum and shops around a bit. Highly recommend for visiting.

Absolutely gorgeous place! Learning about the building's history was incredibly fascinating. Even if you don't have a lot of time, it's worth dropping in just to view the architecture & the carefully curated history displays about Union Station. Walk around & take in those 95-foot ceilings with a cup of coffee from the cafe on-site or grab a bite of lunch from the restaurant. There is so much to do here & they have featured exhibitions as well. We only visited to view the building & the history displays but they have tons of other stuff to do, so do your research ahead of time. It could easily be turned into a full day of exploration. Long live Union Station!

Union Station Holiday Reflections was fun. It’s so grand and beautiful inside Union Station. Holiday Reflections is indoors, lots of Christmas lights and photo opportunities. There’s a whole area/room of electric model trains that are pretty cool to watch. It gets very crowded but we really enjoyed it overall.

Beautiful train station! They have lot of things to do like a an exit room, museum, science museum. Now at Christmas they have a beautiful Christmas tree. Worth a visit for sure! Plenty of parking available. Really nice restaurants, shops inside too.

We visited the Titanic exhibit and it was amazing. Had a lot of both historical facts and exhibits about the ship itself but also about locals tied to the tragedy. Very moving and well presented.
