Freedom Boat Club - Largo: Largo Intercoastal Marina

Largo Freedom Boat Club location was outstanding. The entire experience smooth, professional, and genuinely enjoyable. All was well-organized and stress-free, and Tyler’s knowledge and positive attitude really stood out. Easily one of my best experiences with Freedom Boat Club. The dock is ALSO easy to return to. Big plus.

The online reservation was set for 7:30 am arrival. I confirmed the night prior for 7:30 arrival. Me and my guests were there at 7:30. We could Not get in the gate. I sent a text and called the dock phone number. Nothing! I waited for 10 minutes. Nothing. We finally got in at 7:50am. When I finally saw the dockhand I shared my experience with him. No, apology or nothing. He appeared annoyed at me. He treated us weird thereafter. Really? Communication skills are lacking professionalism. He loaded us on our Trophy boat, only to learn the live well was not working. We were going fishing. Then we loaded on another trophy. Just a total lack of preparation. If he only knew how to communicate with a smile, apology and great attitude then the experience and outcome could be totally different. Needless to say my guest, who just retired and moved to Largo was less than impressed with the red carpet service I bragged about prior to showing up. I doubt he will proceed joining at this point.

Great location, easy to use and clean boats. TJ especially deserves to be recognized for his hard work and dedication to the club and it's members. Easily one of the best I've seen in my 9 years with Freedom. Keep up the awesome work Largo FBC team, it is noticed and appreciated!

The two dock hands were adorable and extremely professional and polite. Such nice young gentlemen. We had an enjoyable time on the intercoastal!

We just had the best weekend boating at the Largo Freedom Boat Club. The new manager Jake has been great and we are extremely happy with the newest edition to the crew Kevin. He is one of the hardest working crew members I have seen at any Freedom location. The new team here has been very accommodating and very responsive to any needs or questions. We took out the new 23’ Harris pontoon today and it was amazing. Handled the waves well and burned very little gas. The 115hp mercury is sized perfectly for this boat. We transferred our home membership to this location and couldn’t be happier. We saw some cute dolphins and have been watching this baby dolphin get bigger every month. Thank you Freedom Boat Club and the crew at Largo Intercoastal.

The Largo dock staff, Sam and Anthony, are perfect gentlemen who make sure our guests feel welcome. They went above and beyond to help and had inviting conversations with everyone.
