Long Beach Cruise Center

Nice port to sail out of. A little conjusted early drop offs & pick ups. Easy to park & get on board. Convenient

Getting in to drop off and pick up people is not well organized. They should open at least two gates not just one, they have three gates, this bottle neck causes stress on people and makes them upset. They can also use the entrance to the right of the gate, from South Harbor Scenic Drive, for buses and commercial vehicles (delivery trucks).

Beautiful views. Allow extra time for line to drop off and to park. Don't be dumb, dont bring drugs they got dogs that smell that stuff!

The Carnival Cruise terminal is generally a pleasant and efficient place to begin your vacation. The staff is usually quick, organized, and friendly, making both embarkation and debarkation smooth and stress-free. The porters here are some of the best I’ve encountered — fast, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. However, traffic and parking has become a growing concern over the past year. There have been multiple occasions when it has taken us over 45 minutes to go the last mile before the cruise terminal. We’ve also been redirected to offsite parking multiple times. The offsite lots do not feel as secure or convenient as the onsite structure at the pier. While the terminal experience itself remains strong, improved traffic and parking options would make the overall process much better.

Worst drive in for parking or drop off/ pick up most of the time for cruise. They never improve this for many years we have taken Carnival cruise here!!!! Last cruise we parked at end of LB convention center and took the free shutter bus in and out, much quick and easier! Still have to get in long waiting line to picked up my family! They should let all other people park far away lots and tram or bus them in much faster!

Getting in and out of LBCC can be a bit of a hassle with backed up traffic and long waiting times...the congestion even carry all the way into the Seaport for the check in process of boarding your Cruise ship. Once inside the terminal it's less stressful, but the line was crazy long before you finally reached the ship, having the chance to witnessed the Iconic Queen Mary docked though was a pleasure. When I joined my cruise ship from here, the calling of cabin numbers was very unusual for me...as my previous CCL cruises was nothing like. The terminal was clean and air conditioned with seating and free wifi to pass the wait times. Since I've taken this cruise, I vowed never again..but as my love for cruising always get the best of me, I'm afraid that's not going to happen.

Closing the parking structure made Debarkation day chaotic and super crowded. Our ride share driver got canceled bc it was taking about 30 minutes for the drivers to even get to the pickup spots. The facial recognition however, was great.
