Lowell Heritage State Park

Gorgeous, clean bathrooms! Lovely to walk!

Great place to do your exercises. There are always activities happening like movie nights, motorcycle meets, Southeast Asia water festival, etc... there is also the UMass Lowell's boathouse where you can rent canoe/kayak for a good time in the Merrimack. Also, the Lowell Historical National park has their boat tour during the summer for free (highly recommended). You get to know the history and see the beautiful Merrimack river from another perspective.

This is my all season favorite place. This place is Beautiful and Peaceful. The summer is more pleasent here. The fall is also beautiful here. A great place for walking/ running in the summer. Pet friendly place, People come here for dog walking and fishing, picnic etc. The walkway is clean and well maintained. During summer lots of cultural activities happening here Motorcycle shows, Music event, Concert, Combodian water festival, African Festival, Indian cultural Festival, Kinetic Sculpture Race etc.

Beautiful state park right off the highway and on the river! Great natural resource of the city and a nice place just to go and take a walk with your family or by yourself to just think and relax. Nice stage area to shoot pic or video

Beautiful walking around the river, both sides. Some parts with litter, but otherwise a gray place to walk or ride a bike. Benches spaced about. The falls are exceptionally great to look at.

You can walk near the river but it is very crowded in warm days. It can be hard to find a parking. It is right near a busy road; so I don't think it is the best place to relax.

It was a great time for exercise and relaxing in the water on the single kayak, a nice view of the bridge, and a sunset. Next time gonna be with my children.
