Ezell Road Park

This is a very quiet trail, it is located next to a corrections facility, so not the most scenic. On the other side of the paved trail is a quiet and beautiful creek.

Very quiet, open, well lit. We had fun walking the dogs on the trail here. I only wish people had picked up after their dogs better.

The trail is ~1 mile long each way and runs parallel to the Mill creek. It also runs parallel to the prison facilities until you get to the ~.25 mile marker. Parts of the trail that are closest to the road are a bit dirty as is the creek itself but if you can make it past the quarter mile mark there are small paths from the paved trail that lead down to the creek. It’s peaceful and nice to look at despite the trash. This park is also really close to the airport so planes were flying low overhead during the entire stroll. I’ve only seen a hand full of other people on the trail, I was able to walk with my baby in a stroller. The soccer fields at the end of the trail are all kept and my toddler was able to run around no problem. It’s a good place to take a relatively short walk but it’s not the cleanest or most scenic option.

Beautiful views of the correctional facility razor wire and polluted Mill Creek. The sound of jet engines taking off and landing overhead adds something very special to the ambiance of this special greenway.

I stopped here briefly to let my dog stretch her legs. It was nice and quiet for the short time we were there.

Well it's paved for walking next to mills creek across from county jail I walk some of it my favorites are seven oaks park and whinsett park I like private area win walking.

Nice park next to a creek. Nice small field to let your dog run with a long leash or rope. Didn't give 5 stars because there is a mine on the other side of the creek and some days there is a bad smell in the air. Overall good park for a quick run, walk or bike in.
