Pier 78 at Hudson River Park

Lovely Boat tour of the River Hudson and Staten island. Always wanted to see the Statue of Liberty... It's smaller than I thought 😜. Molly the Guide did a great job explaining all the sites and History of Manhattan and the surrounding areas!

The cruise we took from here was wonderful! Our guide, Michael, was very knowledgeable and kept everyones attention. The pier itself is ok. There's a great little shop where you can get souvenirs and snacks. There's not a lot of guidance as to where to wait or when to expect to board, but it all worked out.

Took a cruise from this pier. A must do, 90 mins of fun. Had a great time with the family cruising along the harbour and around the statue of Liberty. Spent about 4mins around the statue, and then cruising along until the Brooklyn bridge and back to the pier. Molly was spectacular in her sharing of the history and information about the city. Absolutely recommend this. It was a steal at $35 per person.

Molly was the best narrator, she has good jokes! It was a rainy day which made it a nice, more intimate cruise. I wish ponchos had been offered for purchase (outdoor kiosk sold them, but didn’t advertise) but otherwise it really was a nice tour and experience on the Hudson/East River

Atlantic Star ferry is awesome. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Good VIP service on the boat as well.

We went on the starship cruise that left from this pier, a fabulous cruise lots of info on the way by the very funny Darios and so close to the statue of liberty, lots of views for photo ops as well.

Had been here for the Statue of Liberty Cruise. Its recommended to stand as soon as you get in the cruise. If you sit there will be people standing in front of you blocking the view. The announcer is lovely. She keeps the crowd engaged and the knowledge she has is fabulous. Overall the place is close to the public bus stop so decent enough.
