Its a beautiful place to get some steps in. I saw lots of people walking their dogs. Seems safe. There are no public restrooms available when I went. I spent most of my time there looking for a restroom. Finally I resorted to a restaurant. The young lady at the counter was very kind, friendly, and let me use the restroom; even though they were closing. This was a cafe where I encountered an angry dad. I felt sorry for his kids. I don't think the locals are used to seeing Asian people either. As I noticed a caucasian couple staring like I had an extra head growing out of my neck. It was uncomfortable. I guess if one is a racist that is the whole point, making people of color feel uncomfortable. The visitor center was closed on a weekday at 4:00 pm and apparently the other public restrooms are closed in the winter as well. So good luck if you need to use the facilities. Not sure how likely I would come back as I am not from Pueblo. I happened to be in the area and wanted to check out the Riverwalk.
what a beautiful brilliant river walk!!!! It could had been the light but the layout! the design of this waterfront is gorgeous! i can't wait to see what this place looks like in the future!
Walking the Pueblo Riverwalk at sunrise was pure magic. The peaceful flow of the water, the sight of blue and red dragonflies, squirrels, birds, and even ants going about their morning — it all felt like a living, breathing ecosystem. The spider webs glistened in the early light near the waterfalls, creating a serene, almost enchanted atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to ground, reflect, and connect with nature right in the heart of the city.
Well we stopped at a restaurant and had japanese food it was amazing. I love coming to Riverwalk because they have quite a few restaurants to eat at. I come here a lot
A fun walk along the river that runs through the middle of town, where you can stroll along on expansive paved walkways trimmed with pretty landscaping. You can visit various shops or take leisurely boat rides on the very calm river. Pueblo has added art works and sculptures along the pathways on the Riverwalk, and has preserved many of the town’s historic buildings. There’s a variety of restaurants and outdoor cafes to choose from as well.
Absolutely beautiful place with tons to look at and do. Restrooms, Shopping, Nature, Restaurants, and Boat rides. Very historic place with tons of Pueblo and Veterans info/statues. A safe place for something for everyone. Would highly recommend as one of the best places in Pueblo!
Lovely walk. Veterans bridge was easy to locate family service member in the monument.
