Saw this while I was searching for something unique to do while in the Rochester area! We enjoyed our Erie Canal ride on the Sam Patch on a beautiful fall sunny day! Not good with names, but our navigator and guide did a great job of making history fun, yet informative! Our guide also did a great rendition of the Erie Canal song, and told us the story about the boat’s namesake, Sam Patch, along with the history of the Erie Canal. Would highly recommend if you are in the area!
We LOVED our ride on the Riverie! We had a group of about 12, to celebrate a 90th birthday. Our guide and the captain were very welcoming, the boat was spotlessly clean, and the scenery was amazing. Parking and boarding were incredibly easy. I highly recommend this adventure to anyone
Celebrating a family birthday aboard the sunset 2 hour cruise of the river and canal was very special- 4 adults and a child. The Captain and his female attendant were personable, professional and knowledgeable. The other cruise passengers were so sweet and kind. We were very lucky to get a great group. I highly recommend Corn Hill Waterfront and Navigation!
I threw a 70th Surprise Party for my Mom on the Riverie! I cannot say enough amazing things about this experience. From the ease of booking, to the staff, the boat ride and the history shared it was an amazing amazing birthday! Great views of downtown Rochester and a fun experience going through a canal lock! We had Board N Bacon Cater it and it was Awesome! 10/10 would recommend!
This is a great experience for travellers to the area; I loved not only spending time on the water on a beautiful day, but also getting to experience the amazing Erie Canal and one of it's locks!
We had a wonderful cruise along the Genesee River to the point where The Riverie pivoted East along the Erie Canal , glorious fall foliage was surrounding us. Simply Stunning views and our "mate" Deb was able to share so much about the area along the cruise! Thank you Deb and Thank you Ron for the smooth cruise. We even enjoyed a kayak group sporting Halloween Costumes! Quite enjoyable. My absolute favorite was seeing the statue of Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglas offering a hand shake , one ofca few in those precarious times 🙏 Please see some of the pictures taken before during and after the cruise. We are Blessed to call Rochester NY Our Hometown 🙏
Wow! Great experience on this recently newly commissioned river tour boat on Rochester’s Genesee River out to the Erie Canal. Cruise past the U of R, Mount Hope cemetery and other notable Rochester landmarks! They serve drinks on board so sit back, have a cool drink and enjoy the cruise!
