Rock Hill Cruisers

I went to a cruise in at Rock Hill recently. As far as a previous review about being "mean and rude".... Well I've always found you get back what you give out. Be the first to break the ice. A smile and friendly conversation goes a long way. I enjoyed the evening and came away with some really nice cars.

Don’t expect any ‘judging’. Ptp judging with their own club and friends picking who does well. Top cars that win at national shows don’t get recognized because participants vote for themselves and friends and ignore anything that isn’t part of their club or friends of the club. 3 times we went to local shows to help out with their ‘cause’ and enjoy a short trip with our show car(s). 3 times we saw the top cars (not necessarily ours) get out-voted for embarrissingly inferior cars/trucks. It isn’t tough to see cars with a better build or quality than others. Local shows are also nothing to get excited about when it comes to ‘trophies’. But when you see the crazy imbalance in what ‘wins’ at Rock Hill Cruisers shows vs what drives away w nothing - it’s obvious there isn’t any sanity to their awards. Never wasting money to sit around on a nice Saturday to see those with better cars go away losing to club cars again - even if you are donating to a decent cause. I’ll send my money to the cause and spend my hard earned Saturday doing something worthwhile. Avoid at all costs.
