Mission County Park

Beautiful landscape and a lot of gorgeous art along the trails. The trails all lead to different Historical Missions depending on how far you walk. Great place to run, jog, ride your bikes or if you're like me, a beautiful place to walk your dogs. I'd highly recommend walking to the missions. It's great exercise and you get to take pictures of the beautiful missions for wonderful memories with your family. Speaking of family, you get to fish at the river and BBQ at the park while kids play on the playground. Great place for birthday parties and family gatherings in general. Fantastic park, would highly recommend dedicating each walk on the trail towards going to a different mission each time you walk so you have a goal to strive towards and not get bored of the trails.

If you're like me and were born and raised here in San Antonio, you'd know the rich history Mission County Park has. The Tejano music bands that played live here and brought the community together in the 80s and 90s. The memories alone make this place very special to me. But aside from that it's a beautiful place that's maintained by an amazing crew of individuals. With access to the San Antonio River, playground, picnic pavillions and indoor restroom facilities. Great place for outdoor fun and fresh air

If you arrive before the park opens, there are big gates blocking the entrances, so you can go across the road to Mission Pkwy Parking and see the quiet part of the riverwalk (this is what I did). This park is huge with many picnic tables and a huge paved circular loop. There's covered pavilions, bathrooms, a huge metal art piece with cacti growing atop it (that was unexpected and cool), and a brief metal bridge. There was minimal trash and I saw someone going around picking it up. This is a lovely park next to the San Antonio river with a lot of wide open grassy space.

My first time coming here to walk on the trails. It was a very nice park with very decently clean bathrooms. It's quite big too. Great place for birthday parties!

This beautiful mission has been preserved with great care. Such a sacred place, incredibly rich with history. The short film was well made and extremely informative!

Beautiful nice relaxing and water walking distance.

We love this park, excellent walking and biking trails. I actually participated in a WWP Carry Forward 5K here, wonderful trails to walk on.
