Carefree Boat Club of Southern California

This boat club is truly phenomenal!! They have a wide variety of boats to choose from to meet everyone's boating needs. The staff is very attentive and helpful. Whether your looking for a bay cruise or deep-sea fishing and anything in-between you should definitely stop by to check out care free. Today (2/26) - we saw whales and dolphins!

Danny was incredibly helpful, caring, and supportive. I’m visiting family in San Diego, and he took the time to walk me through the entire process of getting a boat. He even offered guidance on where to park and the best areas to explore based on the wind conditions. He’s one of the most helpful and easygoing people I’ve ever worked with at carefree, both personable and professional. Thank you, Danny, for all your help! Wish I lived in San Diego to get your help every time!

I've been to a lot of boat clubs and seen a lot of boats. The fleet kept at carefree Boat Club SD is top notch. It's not often you find an Axopar in a boat club. We had an amazing time on the water checking out the best views of San Diego Bay. I wish our local club had this nice of a selection of boats. We saw fishing boats and even a double decker pontoon boat with a slide in their fleet.

Unreal experience, I had a few of my family members visiting from out of state and I wanted to get them on the water. I stumbled upon Carefree Boat Club SD and what they offer was extremely fitting for my situation. I was not looking to buy a boat and have to maintain, store, and clean it. I just wanted to be able to schedule a boat day with no headaches. After speaking with Peter, I knew that this is what I was looking for. I became a member of the club on the spot about 2 months ago. Carefree Boat Club SD takes care of everything, all you need to do is show up and have a great time on the water. I would highly recommend anyone interested in wanting to get out on the water to reach out to Peter & Carlos. They are both extremely knowledgeable but more importantly amazing people to be around, they make the experience everything. Thank you Carefree Boat Club SD!

They have 4 brand new boats with more on the way, and they limit their number of members to make sure there are plenty of boats available when you want to take one out. We're talking Fishing, Skiing, Wake Boarding, Tubing, Cruising and generally having the time of your life - the Carefree way! If you THINK you want to own a boat, you owe it to yourself to check out Carefree Boat Club FIRST. Carefree's low cost membership dues will save you tons of money, and loads of time...I mean, you don't even have to refill the fuel tank, empty toilets, or clean a thing. Don't know how to drive a boat? No problem! Carlos and Peter will teach you everything you need to know and more. I'm super stoked to be a member of Carefree Boat Club, and you will be too!

I have been a member of Carefree since they first opened. I can tell you right now that it is a SUPERIOR club compared to anything Southern California has to offer. The boats are premium, nice and maintained/serviced regularly - not just when something breaks. The boats are CLEANED and immaculate whenever you step foot on them. The customer service is also a step above any other clubs. The owners Peter and Carlos are very involved in the club and it is not just another side project of theirs. I can not stress enough, the club customer service is unparalleled. You will not find a better club to join. The members are all cool and the owners are very accommodating. I have been on other club boats and if you want to waste your time touring the others, go ahead - once you step foot on a carefree boat you will realize why it is the best club in San Diego. Open up a new frontier and join the club. You wont regret it.

My wife and I took a last minute vacation to San Diego. We belong to the Carefree club in Florida but figured we'd give the San Diego location a call. They were awesome! Hooked us up with a boat last minute and we were able to experience SD on the water. San Diego location is just as awesome as our home location. Really love Care Free.
