Sail Savannah

We booked the sunset sail with Savannah Sails for our anniversary, and it was easily the most perfect part of our entire trip to Savannah. Captain Ed and his mate Connie were an absolute joy to sail with—professional, personable, and clearly passionate about what they do. We loved that we could bring our own snacks and drinks on board, which made it feel even more relaxed. To top it all off, we spotted dolphins while the sky turned shades of pink—it was truly magical. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you for making our anniversary unforgettable!

Beautiful evening sail! The hosts, Ed and Lily, were wonderful and even let the kids help with the lines and sails! Lovely evening, highly recommended! We'd love to come back when we're in Savannah again!

Was able to book a Sunset Sail on very late notice. Captain Ed & 1st Mate Connie were very welcoming, very professional, but cordial. We had great sail on the KESTREL. I would definitely recommend it, and will be looking forward to giving it another go next year.

My son booked us on an evening sail. Despite the heat, once we got moving the breeze off the water was just refreshing. The views were fantastic. The smell of the water and the quiet was so relaxing. I hope I’m using the proper terms our Captain Ed and mate Connie, not only were informative and took care of us but made our sail absolutely enjoyable. Thank you for a very memorable time.

We booked a late afternoon/sunset sail with Sail Savannah and had the most wonderful time! One of our party is in a wheelchair and Captain Andrew assured us of her being able to transfer and board unto the sailboat. All went smoothly and our party was able to enjoy the beauty of the Low Country from a unique view. I am an avid photographer, especially nature and bird photography. I was looking forward to trying to capture some photos of whatever came our way. We saw local landmarks, a variety of birds and the dolphins put on quite a show for us!! The dolphins were so close to the sailboat and followed along with us several times. They were very playful at sunset. Captain Andrew and his first mate provide snacks and drinks for us as the evening progressed. Both demonstrated much knowledge about the history and area throughout the sail. I would highly recommend booking with Sail Savannah for an experience you can only get from the water!

Awesome sunset sail. Our first time on a sail boat and it did not disappoint. Ed & Ben were outstanding! They shared lots of history and information about the river and wildlife. Highly recommend and we will definitely book again.

What an amazing experience on Sail Savannah’s excursion! We took the sunset cruise and had a truly enjoyable time. Andrew was knowledgeable of the area and history of buildings we passed by and we learned new and interesting facts. I’ve never sailed before and it was a superb experience. I highly recommend Sail Savannah if you’re looking for a unique and relaxing experience on the water. We’ll be back!
