We came to see the "Sound of Music" troll by the Danish artist, and ended up enjoying the park just as much. Lincoln Park offers about 5 miles of trails and is one of my favourite parks in Seattle. Plenty of parking (especially in winter) and no fees required. We came to see the "Sound of Music" troll by the Danish artist, and ended up enjoying the park just as much. What an awesome area! I actually just went to see the Troll, little did I know when I walked down a pathway it would open up to people fishing, kayaking, paddle boarder, having picnics, walking..... enjoying life. I entered the park from one of the parking lots and walked through what felt and looked like a forest from beyond. Seeing several different paths to walk I followed my GPS to walk down to the troll. What a nice walk through the woods, beautiful, peaceful, serenity at its best. After coming to the end of the path there was a public pool, lots of guys fishing, people walking their dogs, enjoying the day. The views were fantastic. Not something you'd expect from the area. Not sure how long the path goes around the lake itself but I walked it for quite awhile enjoying the scenery. If you happen to be one of the lucky ones to see a resting seal that would just add to your visit. Will definitely return and explore more when I travel back over that way.

Gorgeous views of Olympics, puget sound and islands on a clear day. Pictures do not do justice to the views. Go visit and experience yourself. The troll- Brunn Idun is accessible through a small walk. Great for families, kids and bikers. Kids playground is great. There are 2 big parking lots and it was easy to find parking on a busy clear winter day. Our family has a great visit.

Beautiful area with a forest like park where you can truly go on a hike in the city. The water front is very well kept so you can walk, run, take a stroller or probably even a bike. Dreamy park and I want to come back to it for linger

Amazing park. Can’t beat a nice rainy day walk or a chill picnic in the summer. There’s woods and paths. Play areas for kids. Play fields. A lovely walk along the water. Bathrooms.

I checked this place out for the first time and it’s a true local gem. Solid views, great atmosphere. On a sunny day, it’s the perfect spot to clear your head, reset, and just enjoy the moment. Definitely worth the visit.

Absolutely love this park! Besides it being beautiful & clean, the people are so friendly! Struck up a conversation with a nice gentleman walking his dog. He gave us several tips about the park, as I told him we had never been there. We talked about other Seattle parks too! Haven't spent a lot of time in West Seattle, but this park made me fall in love with West Seattle! Great, long trail on the coastline. Beautiful views from the bluff & enough trails to get a good walk in! There are several nice restrooms about the park too. Saw a sea lion floating in the water. Very family friendly too! I would absolutely feel comfortable visiting by myself & will definitely be back! I see why it is such a popular place
