The food was the best part of this trip. The room was too small and the bed had two mattresses joined together so I kept falling in the gap! The cleaners and room staff were great. The shower was tiny and not much water pressure. The shows in the main room were good, other activities were a bit sad like bingo. The tv in bedroom was very bad with no reception or variety. I give the food 10 out of 10 but the rest I didn't enjoy much except for the destinations we stopped at were great. This was my first cruise and probably my last, the rest wasn't worth the price. The views were also amazing and the top bar and pool had fun bands and were entertaining.

Discovery Princess is Beautiful. The cruise was relaxing. Great service, Marcello was Amazing! He gave us everything we needed and was always available to assist.

We have been on 11 cruises with princess, from mini cruise the four days to 11 day cruises, and every single one was absolutely amazing. The service is above and beyond, the food is yummy, the drinks are delicious and not too expensive, the entertainment is amazing and I like shopping on the ship a lot cuz it’s tax free, and there are lots of fun choices. We’ve been to Mexico, Hawaii, coastal cruises, and every single one was fun.

Cruised on the Discovery from Seattle to Alaska. The food , staff and the experience were all perfect ! As always Princess never fail to impress . My favourite Cruise Line by far. No need to change anything you have it all spot on.

No Stars! Without a doubt, the worst experience of my life. In June my Wife and I took the Alaska Land Cruise after much prompting from family members. Alaska was absolutely beautiful, but the Princess was the Frog in this Grimm Fairy tale. They changed our itinerary on the 11th, we left very early on the 12th. We didn’t notice the change till we were two days into the trip. No prior notice, no explanation, no apology, just "Nothing we can do about it." I could write a book on everything Princess did wrong. But I’ll just say this, there is no happy ending in this story. Do yourself a favor and never book anything with Princess. Oh and one last thing, I’ve eaten better food at the Seven Eleven during a late night munchies run.

We had a very good time on the Ruby Princess. I agree with the other posts that suggest the crew is less enthusiastic and engaging than other cruise ships. I've been on three cruises total and about half of the staff on the Ruby Princess were phenomenal but the other half were not engaging and seemed tired/over-worked. Our excursions were great! Still would recommend Princess to middle aged and older couples/groups. Not many activities for kids/teens on board.

There is no real good place to review Princess cruise ships. Here are my photos review of Royal Princess, and thoughts. We cruised to Alaska in early September 2025. We had beautiful weather and was bless with seeing caving at Margie Glazier. Royal Princess staff were fantastic. We took down names of the staff who assisted us. But at the end of the cruise, we didn’t get a survey to highlight the great service they provided. With the demographics of the cruisers, the shows music should gear towards audience. More country, pop, or party tunes, shows quality was very good. Check-in okay, not the worst or quick Don’t stay in cabins at the back of ship. Noise and vibration Some bath, hand, and wash towels are stained and worn. Good shower water pressure and hot Dining rooms: Allegro Casual dining room. We ate here 90% of the meals. Symphony is a bit more elegant decor Good menu selection for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Customer service desk assistants were helpful. Appreciated and enjoyed the naturalist, Robert Raincock. Robert did a great job educating and informative. He made the topics easy to understand with humor. Would recommend having him present his nature photography session at the beginning of the cruise vs on the last day of the cruise. Maybe be make it a workshop.
