An amazing park within the city. The park may be small but it can pack large trees for shade, a creek running through, many large sections of grass to stretch out on, all while watching a live band play on the stage, which also bring the food trucks as they line the streets.

Mears park is absolutely stunning during the day. I would say that at night time I wouldn't go there very often but we'll keep it to that. It's real close to the Union Depot and the old studio 4 building which I'm not sure what it's called these days. There are also a couple of swanky restaurants right nearby, which are all a little upscally yuppie if you ask me. But that's perfect they usually have pretty good food but they usually cost a little bit. But if you want to see nearest park just go there during the day it's stunning even in the winter!

Nice park with a couple of soothing-to-the ear waterfalls and lots of benches. It’s near the popular and crowded Downtown Farmers Market. Off 5th Street in Lower Town, there’s music events happening in the stage, year round noon time in the park. Good for having lunch, walking your dog, or just chilling, while you gather your thoughts.

Dog-friendly, outdoor movie nights & concerts w/ food trucks, frequent site for wedding photographs, gorgeous fall foliage! The sound of flowing water, and the dappled shade from the birch trees makes this park feel pretty zen. Great place for walking your dog or meeting up with friends.

My sweet cousin Venita drove by often but never stopped. We walked up and it was absolutely beautiful! Great memory.

I love coming to Mears Park when they have events taking place, which is fairly often. I just went over the weekend to the Twin Cities Jazz festival being held here, and I had a great time here. The square shape of the park was a perfect setup for food trucks to line the streets around the park. They had two different stages playing music, and everything sounded great. My favorite food truck there was I-Pierogi. I had an excellent kielbasa there.

Accidentally cut through this little park finding my car. It’s well lit up and even saw a couple having their photos taken. It was snowing when I walked through, so it was extra pretty. I would have missed it completely if I hadn’t been paying attention to where I was and I hadn’t seen the sign.
