Waḳan Ṭípi

If you look in the tree areas you will find p0t plants growing. We lived there yrs ago and always beang home a plant or 2. They never seem to get rid of them . Havent been there in 5 yrs or so.

Ongoing restoration projects are rejuvenating this area as it was before being a rail yard. While you could spend more time watching and listening to the birds and exploring the 'white cliffs', you can make your way around the main path in less than an hour, so it's nice for a short getaway for urbanites.

The bike ride up thru swede hollow is nice. A lot of transient camping at the Vento Nature sanctuary parking lot along with used syringes on the ground. Better off parking by the farmers market or baseball park.

Nice expansive area next to the mighty Mississippi. 1.1 mile dirt trail starting with attractive information kiosks.

Follow this trail all the way up to Maplewood it is a nice grade fully dedicated path that never gets too crowded.

This building is state of the art! It will have so many features that invite community into the space.
