It’s a great park if you’re looking to enjoy a wild, natural atmosphere. The trails are well maintained and perfect for walking your dog. We saw many people walking, jogging, and enjoying picnics with their families. You’ll likely need to use the boardwalk to see alligators, but unfortunately dogs aren’t allowed there. Even so, we were excited to spot an owl and an armadillo. The entrance fee is $2 per vehicle, and there are multiple parking areas throughout the park, along with picnic areas, restrooms, and playgrounds, which make it especially family-friendly.

It was a good walk around a nice park on a nice day! My only complaint is the east side of the park kind of runs into a big business building and some commercial noise. I know there's not much they can help for that but, for a ln entree fee and conservation park it was unexpected. The boardwalk is really nice and saw some nice green vegetation. Bathrooms along the path were awesome to!

The park is well maintained. There are both paved and unpaved paths. Part of the boardwalk and the tower were closed for renovations when we came here. We only saw squirrels and birds. Like any natural environment, it’s hit or miss on what wildlife you will see. There is a playground and a small workout area. There are pavilions and canoes to rent as well. It can be a little boring as there isn’t much to do if you aren’t going canoeing. It costs $2 per vehicle with up to eight passengers to enter. They do have annual passes as well. There were many people walking their dogs.

This is such a beautiful park!! It’s been several years since I’ve been here, and they have brand new playgrounds with turf. The boardwalks have been redone. The trails are very well kept. As of today (1/14/26) the observation tower was not accessible - it’s still being rehabbed from the flood I’m assuming. It’s only $2 to enter but they *only* accept cash. There is a gas station just outside the park with an ATM, however. We had a great time!

Such a great place, whether you want to stroll, bird watch or walk your dog! Nice bathrooms. We wish the observation tower and path had been open but it just gives us a reason to come down to Florida again.

A beautiful place to walk, stroll, picnic and relax. The park has many trails to explore and you can see cool wildlife along the way. The trails are well maintained and there are ample restrooms. Parking is convenient. You have to pay CASH at the gate for entry. Keep $2 change on you. I love this park and would visit again without hesitation.

Beautiful park with long board walks in the forest. There's a watch tower that has a Beautiful view of the big river and lots of wildlife to see! I saw a beautiful owl, a black snake, gators, and beautiful birds. My favorite park to go to and definitely going back again.
