Great service and if you listen to the staff it’s pretty easy to maneuver. When we came back we got confused for maybe 1 minute on where to find our shuttle, but the security and staff were very nice and helpful—kept the lines moving! It was quick and painless for us. I like how the luggage is laid out. More signs would be helpful and maybe have stairs as an option (didn’t see any).
Easy in and out of Port 2 and DeEmbarkaton Port 3 and right back into garage that we parked. It's easier than Disney or Busch gardens to board and unboard at Tampa! Thanks to the handy Porters $10/$20 is fine... $85 flat rate parking. About $16-17 per day! Have a credit card ready
3 stars because it really is easy once you figure out where to go. First time of many to drop off a cruise passenger. This is where it loses 2 stars. The officers who were directing traffic were rude and not understanding. I made mistakes and was as sorry as a person can be but the one lady in particular was just angry at life. Not a nice person. Then as I'm trying to pull up directions on how to get out of that mess the officer began directing me like I was a complete moron. I opened the window and said "yeah I know! I'm not trying to drive out of here and find directions at the same time!" Calm down officers we are all going as best we can. Finally made it out and am not looking forward to going back! ♀️
It's usually crowded when you get here to drop off people. The cops are helpful. You need to make sure you know which terminal your ship is in before you go and have that exact address in your GPS. Signs are not clear as to which terminal is which when you get there. There is just too much traffic to really have time to look for small signs. They have the ships listed with their terminals but they are combined on the signs so it can take time to understand them and in traffic, you don't have that time. So go to the calendar on the Tampa cruise port terminal and get the terminal and the address you need before you head there. ☀️
The only reason I couldn’t give this Port a 5 star was because finding the entrance to this gate didn’t just confuse me but also my Uber driver when he picked me up from Paradise. They’ve made some really great changes over the years but there’s definitely some room to improve traffic patterns And signage. All in all it was a great experience! Customs was an easy process and they even tried to keep the guests out of the Bitter cold as much as possible. I enjoyed the view and always love seeing the skyway bridge lit up! My favorite was seeing the city I live in at Sunset. It was cool to have a police escort out of the channel into the bay. I can’t blame them for the temps and the rough seas, that lack of communication falls in the cruise lines. Return to shore was smooth sailing and there were no delays in debarking from the ship. I’ll use this port again even if I don’t jump on the same ship.
Easy to get in and out. We paid the extra$20 for valet which made unloading and losing our car a breeze.
A chaotic mess. It took us 40 minutes to get to the terminal as there is only a single traffic lane to get in and traffic coming from both directions. The biggest issue at the entrance seemed to be the foot traffic. People constantly crossing the street from the parking ramps meaning no cars could turn in. They really need someone out there directing/holding back foot traffic so more cars can get in at a time. The terminal is outdated and small, making boarding a very slow process.
