Tampa Cruise Terminal 6

The disembarkation process at the Tampa cruise port was a generally efficient experience. Coming off our NCL cruise we appreciated the clear signage leading into the terminal once we were off the ship. The Customs and Border Protection area seemed well staffed which helped keep the flow of passengers moving at a steady pace. It got a little busy with luggage collection but once you located your bags the exit to transportation was quick and straightforward. It served its purpose reliably as a final step in the journey.

A great place to join up with friends and go on a cruise. Plus you get to make new friends along the way.

I was excited recently to be able to sail out of Tampa on the beautiful Margaritaville at Sea Islander. I've sailed out of Port Canaveral and Miami and I found the port in Tampa to be quite convenient. We reserved and prepaid the parking online so we just pulled right in directly in front of the ship. Getting out was pretty quick as well. If you have a passport they use facial recognition as you go through Customs so I didn't even have to take my passport out of my pocket. Got off the ship and through customs, walked to the car in about two minutes and pulled right out of the lot.

The only thing I disagree is I paid extra for boarding an exiting the boat and when we landed we were second in line to get off the boat people with their luggage got to get off first we had to wait for our luggage I don't think that was very fair

NCL needs to get their chit together. People are standing in the Florida sun for awhile. Sitting on the back of a Carnival ship watching the chit show.

Easy to navigate around the terminal, everyone is great and friendly as you are entering the terminal. However, when you return from your cruise and get off the ship, they are very rude and obnoxious.

Very busy. It was very small and crowded dirty on the outside were you give them you suitcases and people were smoking their but inside it was very fast and clean. This place was wheelchair accessible, they were very good about that. As well the people taking your suitcases were rude. This place is ok.
