This place is amazing! While it sucks you can still hear traffic, overall, it was great to feel a part of nature again! Highly recommended for your health, well-being, and spiritual journey
Imagine gently gliding through a serene space. This expansive area invites exploration and play. Smooth surfaces for cruisers and calming colors create a sense of tranquility. It's a place where worries fade and joy takes center stage. Discover the magic within this unique haven.
Has a lot of hiking trails. Need to bring boots. It has snakes and no water fountain or restroom. Becareful some broken glass on trails.
Good to walk under shade. There are trails, but going down the creek is more bushy. You can walk down the vehicle road for quicker access to creek. I suggest hiking or hard sole shoes. You can hear the birds all day.
Nice woody trails with lots of vines. Take bug spray to help keep the horse flies from biting. Lots of sand bars and views of the creek. About 2 miles of trails. Closed past the bridge though. You can walk to cypress creek nature center from here but it's not recommended yet. The trail is grown up, but will be connected in the future.
This was a short walk to a bridge and path onto the sandy banks by the river. I was able to walk for a bit on the soft, fine sand that had high banks and deer grazing in the distance. Very peaceful and enjoyable!
This place is so much fun if it hasn’t rained in a while. The water is shallow and clear like little paradise. The dogs and my toddler son absolutely love it here and play for hours. One time we did go a couple days after it rained. The water was deep and not clear. An alligator did pop up about 5 feet from my swimming dog, and about 10 feet from my toddler playing on the beach. It’s really a great place, just not when the water is higher.
