Grassy Waters Preserve

An awesome "free" outdoor space to visit with an extensive boardwalk over marshland, with multiple lookouts. A great place to learn more about local habitat and wildlife, the volunteer we met was very informative. There is also opportunity to rent a canoe to use and explore the water.

Amazing volunteers and knowledgeable staff. Great place to learn about South Florida unique nature in this remnant part of the northern Everglades. Also the supply of Palm Beach’s and West Palm Beach’s drinking water. Thanks Henry Flagler!!!

Awesome afternoon hike with the grands. Staff were very attentive and friendly. They spent a lot of time explaining the exhibits.

This place is a nice preserve where you can relax, walk and get away from the buzz of daily life without having to go too far. The staff is very engaging and ready to teach everything they know.

Oh what a beautiful place. Such a lovely and peaceful way to spend the weekend with family and friends.

My kids rave about the nature center! Everyone is so welcoming as soon as they see you. They have binoculars you can use out on the paths and tons of activities to join.

This is amazing place. I was really worried when I thought I was going to be walking through the swamps but it was really fun, the kids learned so much about the environment. It's hard to believe this is right in our backyard in West Palm Beach.
