Lake Wichita Spillway

Wonderful place to view the lake, take pictures and relax especially when the sun is rising. If you run or bike, it's also a great place to get some miles in. The trail is full of wildlife, flora, and fauna. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent place for me to go get some pictures of the sunset. The walking trail is linear so there is no loop to walk around here. I just use this place to catch a good sunset in the summer. If your looking for a place to take some cool pictures with the light from the sun bouncing off the water I highly recommend this location. The parking lot is gravel and there is a hill you will have to walk up depending on which way you decide to walk from this location. It's directly connected to the main walk trail that runs around the entire wichita falls area.( the pictures I posted were taken and edited by me personally). There are two different fishing docks where you can fish from and I think this is mostly what this location is used for. It's not lit up at night so please bring your own light if your coming out at night. I will post more useful pictures at a later date.

One of the best places in Wichita to relax, picnic or just take in the scenery. The revitalization people have really put in some great work.

I've loved skating this trail for the last 3 years that I lived in Wichita Falls. It was nice to sit down and enjoy the views before I hit the pavement again.

Pretty place to go walking!

Great place to ride your bike or walk your pet.
