Timeless Photo

Don’t like to leave this review but quality has dropped here tremendously. Growing up in Boise my friends and I have all gotten our film developed here with great results. I got scans back on a roll and all the shots were hazy. I asked about it upon picking up the film and was told "sometimes the machine does that" - I was given two free rolls of film as a consultation but there was little concern about my bungled film. I got the vibe it wouldn’t have been brought up if I didn’t ask. Gave them one more chance and the same thing happened.

I really wanted to support a local business, so I chose Timeless for developing several rolls of film. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. The first batch of rolls I brought in came back damaged during development. I reached out and initially heard from the manager, but communication eventually stopped. When I called later, a gentleman I spoke with was very courteous and helpful, and he reassured me that damage to negatives was rare. Wanting to give them another chance, I had more rolls developed. Sadly, more than half of those also came back damaged. While the lab has replaced the cost of the damaged rolls each time, film negatives are irreplaceable, and the images lost cannot be recovered. I hesitate to leave this review because I believe in supporting local businesses. But because of the permanent nature of film and the repeated issues I’ve experienced, I cannot recommend Timeless to anyone seeking reliable film developing services.

Timeless Photo does a great job for me. Just imagine how much business these people get being the only place in Boise. I drive all the way from Emmett, I’ve seen the cubbies full of all the different people’s names alphabetically who come here just for getting film developed. It’s a lot and you better appreciate what these people are doing because they probably don’t make enough money either. If you don’t like it you can go buy the chemicals and do it yourself! I didn’t even realize all of the different things this company has to offer. This world doesn’t owe us anything and I am truly grateful for the timeless photos I’ll be having for the rest of my life. Plus, everyone who works there is very nice and amazing! I’ve been there like 10 times and I still forget how to fill out the sheet and every time they calmly remind me. They have made no mistakes with my photos and if they ever did I would forget about it. I’ve read the other comments, they work hard to make things right with their customers. These are real people working here. Show them some love.

I’m a little bummed out because I’m new to Boise so I did some research to see who does a great job printing. Found Timeless Photo and drove out of my way to pick up my photos that I had ordered to be printed online. The prints were darker with muted colors and not very Christmasy. Posting original and the print to see the difference. Giving 2 stars because everyone I dealt with was very nice. But my pictures… 🙁

Jason, thank-you! I ordered an enlargement, wanted my father highlighted in color from a black and white along with the United States Marine Corps Flag. VERY happy!!! Also ordered an 8*10 from a smaller photo, came out perfect.
