The changes they've made to modernize and streamline their storefront and processing over the past few years have taken them from great to excellent. Perfect developing, ultra-high res scans, file transfer delivery, new and more accurate turnaround estimation, and best of all, unmatched customer service. I'll never go anywhere else 🙂

I went here to buy rolls after I bought my first ever film camera. I was greeted by Justyna, who made me feel extremely comfortable and answered all of my questions without any judgement. So helpful, already developed the first roll I bought, very quick service. Support your local small businesses that have been in the area for such a long time! I will make this my regular spot for all my film related things from now on.

One of the last Polish-run camera shops in Greenpoint! Prices are reasonable, and it has such a great small business feel. I’m so happy I found this place and keep coming back!! Really enjoy shopping here and supporting a local spot.

I MISS THE OLD KUBU’S It saddens me deeply to give one star to a once beloved staple, but alas, they’ve earned it. Been coming her for a decade, last year they upped their usual scan to usb/email price by 50%. And now, not even a full year later, have upped it again, totaling a 67% increase!!! ($8.95–>$14.99) Insaneeeeeee markup, with longer turn around times, shorter pick up window for negatives, no contact sheet with your negatives to see what is on them … etc. Net net: Charging more and giving less. Capitalism claims another local favorite. R.I.P.
