Biggs Camera

I have been going here for years for film development and uploads and have never had a bad experience. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and the fastest turn around in the Charlotte area. The idea of going somewhere else for my camera needs has never even crossed my mind. They need some merch though I would rock a Bigg's t-shirt like nobody's business! Let me say it one more time - there isn't another camera store in ALL of the lands that does it like Biggs! See attached for some film of mine developed by Biggs.

They definitely know how to print better quality pics. I tried Walmart, Walgreens and CVS to get my passport photos printed but they were not up to the standard. They printed them better than anyone that I tried.

I am a local commercial photographer and after relocating to Charlotte in earlier 2025, I conducted some research to find a quality camera shop that was close to where I lived and also one that not only had a wide selection of camera gear but also employed knowledgeable people who were receptive and provided exceptional service. Overall, I find that the entire staff at Biggs Camera fits the bill. I have dealt primarily with Jamie and Rebecca and I couldn't be more pleased. Nice work and thank you again!

Customer service is terrible unless it’s escalated to a manager. The short bald guy was rude and wouldn’t listen to anything being said. Clearly thinks he knows better than everyone else. Only reason they’re not getting a 1 star is because their manager properly handled the situation after. I also spoke with the people who rejected the photo and it’s clear they’re giving me the runaround. Find any other place or pray you get the manager or young lady.

I've bought gear here, sold stuff to them, and had film developed/scanned. The staff are super helpful; I've dealt with multiple members who've all offered awesome advice/time to me and watched them do the same for others. The prices they offer on gear you sell them are extremely fair, as are their prices for scans and film -- they beat out several other great camera stores I've been to on price. I'm glad to have them as a resource locally and doubt I would have gotten as into photography as I have without them!

I'm sure this is a great place - lots of film on the wall, but I was not accommodated. My need for infrared film development was not taken as a challenge, nor did anyone take much interest in helping me, although I relayed how much i needed a solution. I even offrred to load the film, but was put off. Staff were welcome to send me away, like the homeless guy on the front step. This photo geek was not welcomed.

Biggs Camera is AMAZING! They digitalized a moldy 37-year-old VHS video in just a few minutes. Adam was incredibly kind, professional, and truly cared about the emotional significance of the tape. He guided me through the process, keeping me updated at every step. I found them on Instagram and was a bit hesitant to send my only copy by mail from out of town, but Adam's calm assurance put me at ease. I can't recommend Biggs Camera enough! If you need to preserve precious memories, trust them - they treat your stuff like it's their own. 10/10 would recommend
