Prisma Film Lab

I first started interacting with this film lab back in 2023 when I acquired my first 35mm camera. I brought in many rolls to the lab since then and love the care and turnaround time in place. Unlike Walgreens or CVS with an unknown time estimate for rolls of 35mm film. Their professionalism in guiding you through the ordering process and how you want the scans of your film to be after development, is seriously the factors as to why I will continue supporting this business!

Phenomenal Film lab, the staff is very personable and great people, and the turn around time was very understandable and acceptable + they genuinely have the best dev and scans ever!! Will definitely do business with them again!!

There’s no where I trust more than Lone Star Darkroom to develop my film. The drop off location, at Dons Photo Equipment, is one of the friendliest camera supply stores I’ve been in. My film was turned around quickly and the scans were stunning. As a new film photographer I’m very grateful for the friendliness, professionalism and unpretentious guidance I’ve found at Lone Star and Dons Photo. 10/10 experience

Love this lab. Very responsive, develop in house, never had an issue with my scans. Tried out a few local labs and consistency was an issue elsewhere. I use Prisma for both personal and professional film development.

Prisma lab is the only place I will send my film. My negatives are always nice and neat, and the digital copies exceeded my expectations. I love that they’ve partnered up with Cafe Momento for film pick up and drop offs. It makes it very convenient for me, and I feel comfortable knowing my film is safe in transit. If you love film, use Prisma. Their team is passionate about the craft, and it shows in their workmanship and delivered final products. Plus, it’s always nice to support local businesses!

Loved lonestar! they were super nice when i reached out with questions and sent me a text update when my order was received + finished. I also got some really nice Tiff scans, they edited out scratches and weird colors for freee. Really happy to have a small business locally for film <3

Continually impressed with the service and deliverables from Prisma! Scans look amazing, print quality is top tier! 10/10 recommend if looking for a new lab in DFW area.
