Always a great experience booking The Lumen Room to host my photography clients. Straightforward booking, easy (human) communication as needed, beautiful spaces that have been well planned by people who understand photography and light. Have probably booked 100+ hours in their various spaces over the years, and will keep coming back.

This place never disappoints. They have two separate studio rooms with two different vibes so you can have your pick. They have several furniture and prop options to suit your needs. Both studios have one full wall of windows. I believe one faces the east and one faces the west so you can choose which lighting meets your needs. They are on the third floor, however, there is an elevator for you and your clients. There are bathrooms on the same floor, however, the studios are HUGE with movable divider/walls that you can use to change behind if you'd rather not go back and forth. There is parking on the street in front of the building as well as a lot on the side of the building. They have several DFW locations if Dallas isn't your cup of tea. You can view all of the locations on their website to see what each of the studios looks like and what furniture/props they have. I don't know how often they change the furniture/props out though. You can also book directly online which is a huge convenience especially if you charge your client the studio fee. They can book directly. Make sure to check out all of their locations.

As a photographer, I know how essential good lighting and a well-designed space are for a successful session—and this location meets every requirement. The natural and ambient lighting is excellent, and the overall environment offers a clean, versatile backdrop that works beautifully for all types of photography. Whether you’re planning a portrait session, engagement shoot, or creative project, this place provides the perfect setting. Highly recommended for both photographers and clients alike.

I regularly shoot at The Lumen Room and absolutely LOVE IT. The owners are amazing and so helpful, and the space is gorgeous. They do a great job of up-keeping it and rotating really cool furniture pieces and props from time to time. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Love the Lumen Room! Have used it multiple times for both shoots and events and Xavier and his wife Hilary are THE BEST. Very professional and accommodating, always go above and beyond what is included to make sure you have what you need, are comfortable, etc. Always an excellent experience.

I had an excellent experience booking the Lumen Room. The team was highly accommodating when I mistakenly booked for the wrong date, swiftly assisting me in adjusting my reservation. The room was set up exactly as advertised, and I was especially appreciative that they allowed my photographer to utilize equipment from another room. I will certainly be booking with them again in the future.

Had a great experience today! I’ve photographed in multiple studios in Dallas, and I must say that the cleanliness, personal touch w/our name on the door and easy access was great! The owner was literally a text away, and offered quick feedback when needed.
