Loved shooting at the Water House studio! Come to find out they have c-stands, sandbags, clamps, led lights, and power outlets in all the right places! The ambient light is really nice, clean, nice furniture, and WiFi is always a plus! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars overall for sure! I highly recommend this studio to anyone who needs a space to take some amazing photos! It was my first time renting a different studio other than my own. Since I wanted to do Christmas mini sessions in Des Moines, I found this place, and I was not disappointed! Thanks to Mariah for being so awesome and even letting me go in a little bit early for setup! I attached a few images from the Christmas Mini Sessions!

The experiance was amazing, please don’t listen to the bad reviews. I was on a very tight schedual and Mariah and David were very responsive and helpful getting me a date that worked best for my brand. They even went a extra step and set the studio lights up for me! Again, an amazing experiance for me, and if you have doubts, you can throw them out the window. I recommend them over any other studio in the desmoins area, you definatly get what you pay for:) shoutout to them!

There was a fee that I had to pay for canceling my reservation, although I’d never even signed the contract to confirm this reservation. I was told that after the fee was paid, we could move forward, which was no problem for me. Instead I paid a fee of $150 and my messages were ignored after they received my money. When the incident occurred there was no CLEAR communication and it was never mentioned, even when we spoke on the phone, instead they emailed me a couple of days later and told me that I owed them $150. My overall experience was very stressful and frustrating.

Beautiful setting. Exposed brick and steel, high ceilings, so unique. Everything was pro. Will likely do more events here for sure.

Water House Studio is an absolutely beautiful and multi-functional space! I'd recommend it to anyone needing a photography studio or event space.
