⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Truly Heartwarming Experience at The PHOTO LAB! I want to give a huge shoutout to George at the photo lab for delivering the kind of customer service we just don’t see in 2025. My son—who was born right when film cameras were fading out and cell phone pictures were becoming the norm—is graduating from Texas Southern University tomorrow. Since I don’t have many printed photos from his childhood, I wanted to surprise him with an old-school photo album filled with memories. When I arrived, George told me it would take about three hours. I had already driven an hour to get there, and it didn’t make sense to drive another hour back home only to turn around and come right back. By the time I made it home, it would be time to return. So I sat in my car trying to figure out what to do. A few minutes later, George came outside, noticed me waiting, and asked if I could hold on just a moment. Not long after, he came back out with my finished photos in hand. He completed the order early—simply because he saw my situation and cared enough to make my day a little easier. George truly warmed my heart. His kindness brought tears to my eyes. With everything I’m juggling for my son’s graduation tomorrow, his thoughtfulness meant more than he could ever know. Thank you, The PHOTO LAB, for being a beautiful part of my son’s 2025 graduation. George—you are the BEST! 🎓💜

I wish they would communicate better about parking and lack there of. Communication 20 minutes prior to the appointment you should not let customers know parking has gotten worse. That should be in the booking information especially if you require the full deposit up front and refuse a refund if the cancellation of and made before 24 hours. Honestly piss poor

Came in for a modeling and brand photoshoot, and Stephanie and Donna were amazing! They were super helpful, friendly, and made everything run smoothly from start to finish. I’d definitely come back again — great experience!

I had a great experience here getting my passport photos taken. George, the photographer who helped me, was super professional. The whole process was quick, efficient, and the photos turned out great. When my mom wasn’t happy with how the first set looked 🙄, the photographer went out of his way to make special arrangements and made sure I was treated with kindness and respect the entire time 😊. I really appreciated the extra effort. Without hesitation, I give this place 5 starts. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This review is for their passport photo service. I generally like to support small businesses so I called to see if they still did passport photos and they said yes, it’s was $24.95. So I went in. He quickly seated me and told me not to smile (which is not accurate — you just have to keep your mouth closed.) I asked him to see the photo and re take it twice because I wasn’t looking in the right direction (he kept telling me to raise my chin). The only image he will show you is a 1" thumbnail on the camera (which he will not enlarge). In the end I came out with a mediocre photo where I look mostly frustrated (since I was) and with my hair sticking up in the back (which he failed to care about). When I asked if he could email me the image as a back up he said that would be an additional $14.95. For what? The two minutes it would take to send an email? I would have been happy to pay a bit more here than a big chain, had I gotten similar or better service. But that’s simply not the case. I’d recommend they stop doing passport photos as they clearly don’t want to be doing it.

This is by far the best place in all of Houston to develop film. The team is incredibly professional, and the quality of their work is outstanding. 100% recommended!

I went in to get some older photos developed, the owner was very short with me and didn’t seem like he wanted to help. I was met with indifference. The energy was not welcoming and he Kept quoting the price over and over. Once another older couple came in, the attitude changed. If you are looking to support to a small local business. GO ELSEWHERE!!!
