Everyone is friendly and the hospitality shows. Numerous older buildings which are good for exploring. It’s a good weekend trip

Great vibe in the area with a large variety of vendors, restaurants, and stores when shopping or just enjoying the day. Downtown is very pedestrian friendly, with parking garages nearby, and has a small town feel.

With a lot of activities, it's a beautiful place to enjoy everything, good restaurants,market place building with food court of different food types.. All occasions celebration that Cheer up your heart You,your family and beloved once...

I would like to hangout more in Downtown Roanoke, but I don't feel it is a safe place to be after dark.

Came downtown for dinner at Table 50. It’s been over a year since we have been downtown. Paid for 2 hours of parking and we were 15 minutes late getting back to the car. $73.50 fine. We will not be back. Roanoke is such a backward city.

Make sure you stop by the City Market, vendors sell soaps, local produce, art and crafts. The shops near the market have a unique vibe different from most places I've been. The Pinball museum is fun for kids at heart and worth the ptice, $12 for the day.
