This is a very cool place to visit. I've done several photo shoots here. There is a very eclectic menagerie of businesses here, rancing from collectibles to an actual brewery. This is a great retro-slice of Americana that is sadly disappearing in so many other locations. Take for example: how often can you find a full sized vintage exterior wall painted bilboard advertisement of Dr. Pepper? Then, right down the street is a fantastic period vintage corner diner named Bradley's. If you're into trains, the Topeka train station/park/museum is also nearby. Life is too short to take time on deciding to visit, just go there.

Most stores are great with variety. Others follow you around like your a common theif. Very disturbing so I no longer shop at some locations. Keep your dogs at home. Continual barking at wheat pennies is not my idea of peaceful shopping

Great shopping area but the lack of public restrooms is a disgrace and a disservice to the patrons. Every shop had the facilities under lock and key. When I asked an employee of a store where I could find one they said the Arts Center was the only public toilet. So I walked the three blocks to the center. There was no one there so I went to the back, foundthestairs and the sign leading to the restroom. Upon my exit I was stopped by the lady

This part of Topeka feels like such a small town and gives off those vibes. Unfortunately, there weren’t a ton of businesses open around 4:00 on a Saturday, but I enjoyed going through the shops that were open. Everyone I talked to was super nice, and I enjoyed all the beautiful art.

Nice little shopping, food, and entertainment scene in old part of Topeka. Locals may not be too influencing to go down there due to past years, but from what I've seen, it looks clean up and patrolled well. I have been enjoying going down there with family when im in town. Place has really turned around, and there is fun entertainment. 🙂

The NoTo area was quite wonderful with nice shops and Norsemen Brewing. When we were there, the Art Center was closed even though their Facebook page said they'd be open so I can'trate it fairly. The gentleman that came to the door explained that they were preparing for a NYE party.
