Dee Jay Beach Resort

Love DeeJay! Affordable and comfortable place to be on vacation and still feel at home. Rooms have kitchens with fridge and necessities (plates, cups, cutlery), dining areas, separate bedrooms, full-size showers and tubs, and outside seating areas. Lower rooms are accessible for those with mobility issues. Walk to beach, grocery store, restaurants, and entertainment. Plenty of parking. Rooms facing El Mar are quieter than. Those near A1A. Newer updated building is gorgeous. Older building is not as luxurious but is still great and comfortable! Very responsive management. Can't wait to return!!!

Rooms are Spacious and clean. Area is very safe and walkable to groceries or nightlife. I’ve been coming here for many years and will keep coming back. Marissa goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and treats you like family. Pool is perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Dee Jay has everything you need for a perfect weekend getaway. One block from the beautiful beach, a block from the supermarket, and about 3 blocks from bars and restaurants for late night fun. They have a wonderful, accommodating staff who met our needs when we needed to check in late at night and gave us free towels and beach chairs to borrow at the beach. The room was very clean and homie. This was all at a very affordable rate, what an incredible value!

We LOVED our stay. Hostess was very accommodating and sweet. The "apartments" were a great size and very clean. The small resort is located across from the beach and is in a very nice area. 5-10 minute walk from whatever you might need or want to do! We will definitely be coming back next year 🙂

we have now stayed here 2 different times we love the place for what you get. The rooms are reasonable priced, and all even have full kitchens and most important of all they have a lot of space. You're a 5-minute walk from everything! this is our go to now in Lauderdale by the sea.

Love the location across the street from the beach on quiet El Mar Drive and within walking distance of many shops, bars and restaurants. Hotel is older but well maintained and clean. I had a 1 BR apt with a full kitchen and ample closet space. Furniture is a mish mash assortment. Nothing fancy and very basic. Nice small pool in backyard. My main complaint was the bathroom was in need of an update, especially the tub and shower.

Great value for the money. The apartment we rented was very large - with two full bathrooms - a kitchen - sitting room - and it was clean. Nothing fancy, but had most of the things you need - except you will have to make a run to Walmart for a beach towel, beach chair and beach umbrella, as the resort does not have these. There's a small heated pool and the grounds are nicely landscaped. The resort itself is quiet, although there's a busy street nearby so you will hear some traffic at night. The beach is a three minute walk away. There are also some nice restaurants a short walk away. This is a great place for an individual, couple or family on a budget. Some of the staff are not native English speakers but generally we got what we needed. All in all, quite satisfied!
