Do Not Sit On The Furniture

Do Not Sit is a great venue, we went to see DJ Sabo during Art Week and of all the clubs we visited it was the favorite. It was packed yet felt good, the drinks weren't cheap but didnt feel like we were being fleeced like most of Miama Beach does. All of the staff was friendly, bar tenders were jamming yet attentive to everyone and I really want to mention Kwincey, their door man. While all of the security was cool, he had great energy and was a fantastic first contact of the venue. I use to work security and I cannot stress enough how important people like him are for setting the tone towards a positive night for all. We will be back to DNS on every visit.

My friend michelle recommend to go out here. We had a great time really cool vibe one of the better clubs in Miami, the owner came out, shook my hand, real gentlemen. we had a great time we'll definitely go back thank you guys so much for a good time. The bar is very nice. The music was phenomenal.

This place is spectacular. By far my favorite venue in Miami! The intimate feel, the sound quality, the outdoor hanging area, the top notch vendors … it’s perfection. It’s a combination of a listening bar and a dance space. The vibes are Burning Man meets Miami house scene, with a sprinkle of sauce. The earthy decor, and art vibes make it feel homey… It’s hard to even describe - but if you get it, you get it 😉 Dance on, homies!

Great Friday night. Arrived around 10pm, $40 cover charge. The venue was empty, but it gradually filled up, and by midnight it was packed. The music was fantastic - perfect for anyone who loves to dance - set the tone for the whole night. The crowd added to the experience; super chill, friendly, and open. No aggressive or pushy vibes, just people enjoying themselves and respecting each other’s space. Outdoor patio has a tranquil vibe that’s perfect for taking a break.

I was at Do Not Sit on December 17, 2025. The venue itself is great, the staff was fine, and the crowd wasn’t the issue at all. The entire night was ruined by the DJ, Louie Danger. His behavior was obnoxious, unprofessional, and uncomfortable. Between the cringe misogynistic remarks, unnecessary physical contact, and a general lack of basic respect, it was honestly embarrassing to watch. On top of that, the music and mixing were flat-out bad sloppy transitions, poor flow, no sense of control or taste. It felt like someone more interested in hearing himself talk than doing his job. I came out to support a DJ friend who is actually talented, which made this even more frustrating. It’s a shame a venue with such a solid reputation books someone who kills the vibe this hard. Loved the space, hated the night. Two stars solely because the club deserves better than the DJ they had behind the booth that evening

Tourist rip off. Don’t recommend at all. Had to pay 30USD each entrance fee for an absolutely empty bar where the only souls are DJ himself and the bartenders. Don’t understand how other people had any fun there. One beer is 15 USD, complete joke.
