The Light Horse Restaurant and Bar

Enjoyed a delightful brunch of banana French toast! The French toast was excellent, the fruit was fresh, and they have real maple syrup. As a Vermonter, I particularly appreciate this detail. The waitress was friendly, attentive, and efficient. I’d like to come back again for dinner or drinks sometime. Great decor, and atmosphere!

The service was AMAZING! Food was delicious! That Brie…omg!! Fun cocktails - the pink horsey club was too tart for my taste though. Only complaint is it’s so loud that it’s hard to have a conversation. But great spot - different vibe upstairs and downstairs. Upstairs was more like a sports bar and downstairs more bougie (but still loud). I enjoyed it!

It was a happy accident that we found the Light Horse. We are so glad we did the atmosphere was lively and energetic. The service was excellent from start to finish. The drinks and food where top-notch. We will recommend everyone we know to head to The Light Horse whenever they are able.

We randomly stopped by here and had a great time! 1. Bar: full bar, decent drinks, very small portion for mixed drinks. if you are thirsty, stick with beer or wine. 2. Long bar and a few tall tables. Not too busy, rather quiet for a bar 3. Clean, comfortable bar, well lit and not-sticky, which is very important! All in all, a nice place.

Excellent bar/tavern in Old Town with very friendly service! If you’re a Buffalo Bills fan, Light Horse is also a great place to watch the game as a Bills backer bar! We really enjoyed the spot and thought our food and drinks were delicious.

Service was incredible, we had a toddler and the guy working was so attentive and kind. And the FOOOD omg. I had the hot chicken sandwich and we shared the deviled eggs. Holy moly. I’ll be thinking of those for the rest of my life. Damn they were good. Oh and thank you for my lemonade. SO GOOD

Hands down one of the best hot chicken sandwiches I have had! We just walked into this place and we're pleased right from the beginning. Service was great from beginning to end. I definitely will be coming back for the Hot Chicken Sandwich and the truffle fries and just to continue the banter with the employees. Definitely a must stop if your in the mood for good drinks and even better food. Enjoy!
