Lips Drag Queen Show Palace, Restaurant & Bar

What an amazing experience! The Queens were breathtaking and stunning, a joy and a delight, and so entertaining! The food was delicious, a literal explosion of flavor. The drinks were DRANKS, delicious and refreshing. The atmosphere felt inclusive and safe, while also being an insane amount of fun. Our faces hurt from all the laughter and smiles.

My mother loves RuPaul and she always watched his show, so for her birthday I took her here. The food was amazing! The show was good too! Just a lot of cursing, but it was excellent! My mother enjoyed herself. It was like a dream for her. The food was so good, you could go there for the food alone! Many people criticized me for going, but those same people watch Tyler Perry play Madea at the movies! So, shut up! Same thing! This was for my mother, and she enjoyed every bit of it! These men are really talented! They can sing and everything, so they really give a good show. They are dressed in drag, but it isn’t just about the drag. Since it was my mother’s birthday, they invited her on stage, gave her a crown, and took a special picture with her. She showed that picture to everyone she could! One of the best times of her life! I was happy to see her so happy!

Went to Lips for the first time for a Divorce Party and it did not disappoint! The dinner entrees were surprisingly really good. The servers were very attentive and did not mess around. The entertainers really made our night. I suggest you bring cash to tip the performers.

My first experience brunch experience at lips and it was great. I went with two others. I had the French toast and it was good 9/10. If you’re trying to have a good time each person should come with $65-$100. Bring cash because they give out singles for the ladies performance. Unlimited mimosas 7.5/10. Parking is free.

I've been to several drag shows before but what left me disappointed with this one was the overwhelming emphasis on tipping the queens. It felt like the tipping had become the entire focus of the show—not the costumes, not the performing, not the music. It was all about tips and tipping the queens as much as possible. And the staff reminded everyone about it multiple times before the show even started. To make it worse, the queens only made it to our side of the room about half the time, so each song was about 30% performing and then the rest of the time we just got to sit and watch them walk around the room collecting dollars from everyone. So for the price this overall did not meet my expectations.

What a fantastic experience!! First of all, the food is *really* good. It's not an afterthought to the show. Make sure to arrive early/on time so that you can eat before the show starts - the table next to us arrived later and their food took a while to come out and they barely had a chance to eat their food. Once the show starts, it's a blast! Great MC, super fun performances, and they really get out and get amongst the tables (mainly to grab tips, but that's part of the fun.) I won't even say it's super high energy the whole time - there was a lull in the middle while they took pictures with all the birthday & anniversary people (of which there were a lot.) And it could have even been a good bit more subversive, for my tastes. But it was super fun and a great time. It is pretty loud and after a while, I had to put in my loop earplugs, which is a huge help for me - I can keep partying without getting so overwhelmed.

This place is worth EVERY DAMN PENNY YOU SPEND! I had an absolute blast from start to finish. To start it’s a little confusing because the building is so simple when you pull up. It’s literally the little white building off Buford highway. You pull right into the lot there was no valet Friday not sure about Saturdays and Sundays. As soon you walk in your greeted we had a reservation and were seated immediately. They started us off with caesar salad and water which was perfect for me! I got the shrimp Alfredo. I was a little basic but still delicious simple and enjoyable. I was full after it was definitely a good portion. My Margarita was delicious as well! Now for the performances and I can say is wow just wow every single performance was entertaining fun and engaging. All the performers went out of their way to interact with as much of the crowd as possible and the MC for the night was very funny and really knew how to work the crowd. Overall it really was a blast and I would highly recommend Lips to anyone who loves drag!
