We love this place! We always bring family here when they come to town and it’s a great spot to stop by at the end of a date night. When it warms out sitting out on the front patio is 10/10. The waitresses there are always super nice and quick to serve you. We’ve had a lot of the cocktails over the times we’ve visited and we have never gotten anything we didn’t enjoy!

Classy atmosphere in Billings. Bartenders are very knowledgeable, and helpful. Very confident you could order any drink, and they would make it perfect. Always amazing drinks and very nice staff. 👌 Drinks are more pricey than other places in Billings, but you get what you pay for. Definitely worth it, and honestly more affordable than they should be for the quality! They also fill the martini glasses to the brim, and then you take a drink and they top you off.

I have been going to Doc Harpers for years and it has NEVER disappointed. The best Martinis I have had in town and the atmosphere is really fun! You can go alone or with a group of friends. Very busy on the weekends, so try to get there early. I recommend the Paradise, Peachtini, or Spicy Pickle Martinis, but honeslty they are all amazing. Even their appetizers are great when you need something to eat while drinking. About $10 per martini.

So me and my two friends went in last night and to get a few drinks like we usually do and we sat at the bar the guy bartender asked for all of our Ids we show them him he checks me and my other friends Id just fine then when it comes to my other friend he said he needs to have someone else take a look at it, which didn’t bother us cause he has the new updated Montana Id so it happened before where they need to take a second look cool, we all chillin and this one guy who may have been another bartender is standing like right infront of us behind the bar with his arms crossed starting at us like almost intimidating us when the other bartender is still checking my friends Id, mind yall we just talking chillin so after sometime the guy bartender comes back with my friends Id and says he will not be serving any of us because he had two people check and it’s not valid!!?? Like whattt so my other friend is trying to explain to him that it’s the new updated Montana Id and we have ALL been before multiple times, and he instantly shut us down and says we all need to leave cause he wont serve us. Honestly I have never experienced that much disrespect in a place that we love going to, it was completely embarrassing and rude and we honestly have never felt so uncomfortable.

Really fun cocktail bar with TONS of unique cocktail options that sound amazing. I’m more of a mixed drink gal and they lots of fun mixed drinks. I really enjoyed the holiday themed ones. We also really enjoyed the speakeasy part of the bar 😉

I went there with myself and a couple of friends and I had the most uncomfortable and frankly embarrassing experience there. The bartenders were not willing serve me on the fact that they are not up to date with Montana state issued driver license/ID. They passed my ID around to multiple people while we are sitting at the bar mind you there's 3 bartenders at the bar and then the one checking my ID said he had passed it to two others. So every single bartender in there is not aware of the new Diver licenses/IDs. It was embarrassing to sit there in the middle of the bar and then be denied service for something that is not true. The bartender who was checking it was not even trying to listen to a single thing that my friends and I were saying about the new Montana ID. That service was disgusting and made me feel like I wasnt supposed to be there and from other reviews is seems like thats a common thing. So if you're freshly 21 be aware when you go to docs that the bartenders may deny you because THEY aren't up to date with MONTANA STATE DRIVER LICENSE/ID

The vibe in the speakeasy is awesome, and both sides of the business have a ton of potential, but it just doesn’t seem to be run very well. It took over 20 minutes to get a drink because the bartender, Andy, was too busy talking and taking shots with customers. Super unprofessional, and after talking with him later, it was obvious he was intoxicated. This is not a first. Customer service has always been rough here. This isn’t the place to stop for a quick drink… you’ll probably only get one round if you don’t want to be there for over an hour. As someone in the industry, it’s frustrating to watch staff just stand around talking with no hustle. It takes forever just to get greeted, there are no prices on any of the menus, which is weird, and the drinks are overpriced for what they are. Ours were way too heavy on the syrups, and we couldn’t even finish them.
