I love this place! It is my go-to when I have an out of town friend visiting, because they are open late on weeknights, and there is something to do/drink for everyone. They have drink specials everyday that can make it affordable for anyone to have a few, as well as NA options for my sober friends. The free popcorn on the weekends is a huge plus. My favorite part is that all the games are free and that there is usually not a wait to play one of the games. You can sit and chat if you want, play pool, darts, or a board game. There's plenty of space with it being two floors. I hate cramped bars and I have never felt cramped here. Long live Meeting House! I will say.... I do wish they served water. I asked for water one time when I wanted to get less drunk and was told I had to buy a bottle. The next time I was there, a friend got a glass of free tap water no problem... this isn't great. Please give your patrons free water!
Loved Glamonster so much and it was an amazing show for Sunday!! I’m looking forward to it again and bringing more friends! The Sunday burlesque show was an amazing performance that is worth so much more and the fact it is free is astounding. Can’t wait to see them again!!
Absolutely love this place and come here often but the bartender that was upstairs on 1/9/26 after 10pm was awful. The bar was not busy, but the service was atrocious. The bartender made three separate drink orders incorrectly three times, and then didn’t offer to remake the drinks. The drink orders were not complicated at all (vodka with water, vodka with redbull, vodka with sprite) so by the third time that my groups drinks were made incorrectly, we couldn’t tell if the bartender was doing it intentionally or just having a really bad night. To make matters even worse after all of this happened, there was a moment where someone from my party went up to the bar to just order a Red Bull. The bartender proceeded to inform them that they don’t have Red Bull, which my friend then asked if they had sugar-free Red Bull. The bartender said yes, so my friend then turned to the group and asked if sugar-free would be OK. The group said yes, which the bartender then told my friend who was ordering the Red Bull that his friends were NASTY! That comment was extremely uncalled for and very unprofessional. Overall, the experience last night left a very bad impression on all of us and we’re very confused as to why the service was the way that it was. The bar wasn’t busy, our friend group was not rowdy, and we were just expecting to have a decent fun night at a place that we love to come to, and that was not the case.
Service and atmosphere was fab. My ex and I actually signed our divorce papers here together and it was still a great night. Matt lined us up with Malort for the bitter times, something juicy n’ sweet for the good times, and vodka for strength. 10/10.
Very disappointed with the service during my visit on Saturday, June 5th at 10:30 PM (bottom floor). After ordering a glass of wine, I was refused a simple glass of water and told I had to purchase a bottle instead. That kind of policy feels inhospitable. It left a bad impression, and I’ll seriously think twice before coming back.
Ever since Meeting House began bringing in DJs it’s really changed the vibe and bringing in an atmosphere that Andersonville has been missing. There’s not many places that you can still hangout, but also enjoy the great music and vibes they curate! Also, love the Friday Night DJs, Ryan and Kelsie, definitely recommend checking them out!
I had no idea this place was here until some friends brought me. The atmosphere is awesome and I love all the big games upstairs and board games downstairs. It sort of felt like a cross between Sidetrack and Reply. Big games upstairs include: Darts, Ski Ball, Pool, and a hand shuffleboard table. If I had one suggestion, I’d say the games upstairs are a bit bulky and intrusive on a busy weekend night. Especially the dart boards! Coming up the stairs, be careful not to walk straight through the throwing path as I almost did.
