Bartender was nice and her singing karaoke was really good which is why I’m giving it 2 stars instead of one. But other than that, karaoke was mostly lame and out of place since all the songs picked when I was there weren’t 2000’s alternative at all. And 2 different guys there kind of harassed me - one kept going right to my face so I had to walk away from him and later he flipped me off I think because I wouldn’t talk to him - and nobody did anything about it.

This place feels hit or miss, I definitely don’t go out of my way but it’s a fun little stop if you’re already out in Deep Ellum. It is smaller than expected, some nights service has been great other times it’s not. They do have things like karaoke. Everything is overpriced(even for Deep Ellum) so be prepared for a large bill, I also think the auto 20% grat is why service varies, they get 20% whether they engage with you or not so there’s not reason to deliver quality service unless they happen to be in the mood to do so.

This place is an establishment I frequent regularly and has since it’s become almost like a second home to me. First off , let me say that it’s probably one of the safest bars to go to in Deep Ellum. The crowd is unproblematic and laid back. The music is great ! I come for Karaoke Thursday and Sunday nights when I’m able to, the staff is also one if the best in the industry I’ve met and I’ve frequently plenty of places for nightlife. Shot Topic remains the top of my list because of the friendships I’ve made , the experiences I’ve shared and because unlike your average bar this place CONSISTENTLY is a good time! Shout out to Jo and Destiny for being the best bartenders around and also shout out to head of Security Charles for making sure we keep the place safe 😊 love you guys keep up the excellent work!

A fun little dive bar that immerses you back to the past ever so gently. SUNDAY there was a decent Karaoke experience with plenty of patrons willing to help you belt out those emo favorites you all know and love. The sound setup is excellent and the Ktracks are from the actual songs and not a cheesy MIDI copy. The bartenders are nice, attentive, and swift to fill your order. The prices were standard tier with the slight sting of inflation included. Fairly clean venue and restrooms (2 gender neutral ) let's just hope the grounds stay clean after the newness wears off. Don't forget to sign the wall!

i’ve had nothing but good experiences here so far. people are super friendly, there’s amazing music, and the bartenders are so sweet! they’ll even make past shots if you ask nicely 🙂

Never have I had a bad time here! Crowd, servers, door guys, DJs, all gems. The drink selection is different & enjoyable. I laugh that people freak in the 20% auto gratuity when there's a sign in the middle of the bar that says they've been doing that for a few years now. Either way worth a shot if not a visit, especially those that graduated prior 2012.

Small fun bar with the best of 90s early 2000s emo music. Fun shots based on sing names. Limited seating. They will let you play your own favorite music as well. Bringing back that unique Deep Ellum vibe.
