Sam Bond's Garage

I was there to perform a short set of poetry. Well received. Before that I was planning to eat there with a friend. I ordered the Reuben. You know what? I had made Reuben's in a Kosher Style Deli for about 20 years. Sam Bond's Rachel (Pastrami) was close to what we used to make in Charlotte, NC. Good job. The Mac and cheese was okay-fine.

Great cocktails and always a wonderful local band playing, highly recommend for the atmosphere and the people. The food is lovely, not like your typical barfood. Always freshly made and many options contain vegetables!! The cookies are also wonderful. (Ask for one hot, and it might just make your night.)

Sam Bond's Garage is a local venue that is perfect for seeing live music. The sound system was on point. The patio is a chill spot to have a drink and enjoy your evening. I love a bar with multiple Beer selections on tap. I had a tasty Porter served in a Mason jar by a friendly bartender. I hope next time I go that I get to meet the bar kitty.

If there was a 10 star option, I'd mark it. This is my favorite bar in eugene, and one of my favorite bars period. And I have been all over this country and worked in many different clubs and bars. The food is amazing I think. The Mac and cheese, the pizza, even the salads are top notch and made like a chef would. Always some good drinks on tap. And you have some world class bartenders here who can mix and create like no other. One of which even got bartender of the year not that long ago. There's nothing you can throw at them they won't know. And of course, the outdoor seating area is like your nestled in the trees at a hobbit village, with always the friendliest of people gathered around. The atmosphere is a rare one. In all my years going, I've never seen or even thought there was going to be a confrontation amongst any customers. Maybe it's the building or the staff, or the plethora of great musicians that have played there leaving good karma. But its always a great place, and makes me feel like I'm home when there. Thank you sooo much for all the great times.

I'm at the sand bon garage, with my friend, and it's our first time here. Thought we would check it out, and we both are really pleased with this place! We both ordered the salmon chowder, and it was very good!!! I actually think I like salmon better than the clam chowder?! I have to be honest, and say that the salmon chowder was a tad bit peppery, which I actually happen to love alot of pepper, but I know there are folks out there that would disapprove. The food was out to us, very hot, and within 6 minutes of us paying for it and sitting down at the outside sitting area, and the staff was very friendly, and everybody was smiling. Very great first experience here. I would deffinately be coming back to try more things!! Oh and if you sit outside, it's like a whole other world happening by you on the streets. It's very neat!!

Lovely place for Sun Irish jam and other music. Street parking, friendly bartenders, good food / drink. 5/18/25.

Loved this place, which was recommended to me. Good beer selection, nicely salted soft pretzel, good, and efficient, attentive, and friendly staff. Really enjoyed hanging out in the back, under the trees, catching the Sunday Orish music session.
