Mezzaluna

We went to Mezzaluna to celebrate our anniversary. I was told beforehand by others that reservations were required so I made sure to book our reservation about 4 days or so in advance. When we got there we were greeted by the host who then asked us what we were there to celebrate and we told him we were there for our anniversary, which was then passed down the chain. The atmosphere was very intimate but on a Friday night, it was very loud. Our server was beyond helpful and friendly! Often relighting our candle for us 😄 we did the 3 course with wine and because we were there to celebrate our anniversary they gave us a free dessert. The food was delicious! We did not recognize much on the menu, so we had to google a lot and I had also asked some people what their favorites were in advance to have some ideas on what was good. It did not disappoint! It was all presented beautifully and by the end of the third course I was full but not hating myself full. I don’t remember the names of all of our food, but I will attach the pictures below. It was very spendy and had it not been our first wedding anniversary, we wouldn’t have cared to spend that much however, the quality was there. It will only be a "once in a blue moon" kinda place for us though 😅

Wonderful anniversary dinner experience tonight! Nick provided amazing service! Kudos to him. We chose the 3 course option and every dish was delicious. Also, top notch cocktails. Great experience overall... Thanks Nick (a.k.a Charlie lol).

From the greeting to paying the bill everyone made us feel welcome. The mocktail was well balanced and the wine to start was a good aperitif that enhanced the flavor of the walleye cake and the little gem salad. The walleye and duck breast were both cooked perfectly and the accompliments added a nice additional flavor. The burgundy really paired well with the duck breast and enhanced the experience. Finishing with the fan favorite apple tart and house made vanilla ice cream really capped off the night. Thank you for a great experience! No pictures this time, wanting to enjoy the experience but all the food was presented beautifully. Look forward to coming back.

Fun speakeasy in downtown Fargo below Mezzaluna. Bar stuff was nice and made us yummy drinks. It was busy but the staff was watching for those leaving so they could help us find a spot. Fun spot pre- or post- dinner!

Mezzaluna never disappoints! We had the most amazing meal! Food was beyond delicious (arancini, burrata, cacio e Pepe and halibut), service was impeccable (Brandon was extremely personable, very knowledgeable and accommodating). Our favorite place to dine in the FM area!

My husband and I generally love Mezzaluna. The food is great. Love the service and Brandon is great. Unfortunately, tonight I was let down by the bartender. I attended a wedding party and I did not feel the wedding party was treated fairly at the end of the night which makes me really sad. I hope to see improvement in the future, otherwise we will find somewhere else to spend our money.

Surprisingly refined without feeling out of place. I ordered a steak and it came out perfectly cooked with balanced sides. Warm dining room, attentive service, and a relaxed pace. Feels like a proper night-out spot for Fargo.
