Food was delicious ! Great atmosphere. Huge space. For apps we got the parm fries and gumbo Gumbo was only okay (no spice) the fries were DELICIOUS. For dinner my husband got the burger and I got the grilled cheese brisket. SO GOOD! I would not recommend the chips though. Very filling. Very quick. We will be coming back!

Went here for the first time with two other couples, age ranges from 29-60 and loved it. We were seated right away on a Friday night around 6 and were fortunate to get Dillon as our server. He helped us get Happy Hour prices before it ended at 6. Ordered a slider trio and a Nashy Hot Chicken, with a house Cab and a Potomac Cider. Dillon was super efficient, got our orders correct and we never were in need of anything that he did not take care of almost right away. Atmosphere was fun, noise level was not too bad for a Friday night. The band was just setting up as we were leaving so we did not get to hear them. Loved it and we will be back!

Whether you're craving comfort food or something with a fresh twist, you'll find plenty to love here. Service was impressively fast without feeling rushed. Our meals came out perfectly timed and piping hot, and the staff was attentive throughout without hovering. We especially loved the outdoor seating—comfortable, well-spaced, and ideal for enjoying the fresh air while dining. The ambiance is relaxed and stylish, making it perfect for everything from date night to dinner with friends. And we can’t forget the drinks! Their handcrafted margaritas are a must-try. Each one is balanced and refreshing, but the peach margarita stole the show for me—light, fruity, and dangerously delicious. Highly recommend Bentztown for anyone looking for great food, great vibes, and top-notch service. We’ll definitely be back!

We came here on a Friday night at 5:00. We were seated immediately. My wife had a 0 alcohol beer and said it was good. We had the deviled eggs for our appetizer, they were good! The presentation was really nice. We both had the pork and grits. It was a unique dish and very tasty. We both took half the dish home! This place is hopping and lively! It can be quite loud but it is very fun!

Me and my buddy went here for lunch. I wasn't very crowded but the service was great and the atmosphere was nice. They had a big selection of drinks. We both decided to get their watermelon pomegranate beer. I got some gumbo alongside the double smashburger they have adding a sunny side up egg on top. Would highly recommend their menu is small but good. Their drink menu is fantastic as well. 10 out of 10 would recommend. They also offer kids menus there too.

The vibe and atmosphere is really good on weekends it’s usually packed , the live band with decent dance floor n the environment is really good . Food is really good we had fries , gumbo and spicy chilli soups were really on point for the weather . Overall a very pleasant experience, will definitely revisit.

I’m so excited this spot is in downtown Frederick! I’m a line dancer from NJ so very excited to see line dancing here and will have to come back for the line dancing at some point! Great atmosphere and vibe! Service was very good! We started with the hush puppies which were delicious! They were actually super sweet and reminded me more of like a beignet or dessert item. My favorite item I ordered! I also got the red sangria. It was a little heavy on the soda or mixer that was used and I’m not a fan of bubbles. It was not my favorite sangria as I personally look for super sweet and no carbonation. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. It was good but did not blow me away. I also felt it was a little on the dry side. My favorite pulled pork is from the Angry Chourico food truck in NJ which is my standard of comparison. We also ordered the gumbo. I more so wanted to try gumbo because I’ve never had it. The gumbo was very spicy! But this is coming from someone who can’t handle any level of spiciness. 😂 I do think I would have enjoyed it if it were more bland and the spice cut back. Overall, lovely date night with my husband, good food, and great service!
