Zipperz Bar

"New" bar in Gulfport. One large room with minimal atmosphere. Popular with a lot of girls on this Saturday night. Rather dull. Not festive. Not inviting. Decent DJ, but because it's one big room, it minimizes the likelihood of any conversation with other patrons. An isolated dance floor with much more intriguing lighting would help both functions. Separating the tables and pool table from the open room would make each area more appealing. Looks like it was decorated by a cheap, blind, straight guy. It could use a lot more atmosphere. The TV was playing the Cooking Channel. Really?! Is that hot or what? Lol Nice bartender. Drinks are cheap. Prob ok IF you came here with a gang of friends and just wanted to hang out on the cheap. One major factor is the entrance is in the back of the building. You walk past the liquor store with garbage boxes piled up behind it to find the entrance. Totally trashy impression. I feel like I should have taken a pic of the trash, but there was a homeless guy begging there.

Place is cheap looking. Dark. Smells like a toilet at a gas station. Bartenders friendly. Has a great DJ but scared him off, a very successful drag bingo but didn't want to pay for the entertainers. So they all left Will never be back..

Just moved to Gulfport and went to Zipperz for the first time. It was quiet because mid afternoon but I still had a great time. Seth is a great bartender with an even greater personality. I even met some nice people while sitting there.

Had so much fun. Affordable strong drinks. Talkative staff and patrons. Very comfortable bar setting. Pool and ski ball was fun.

Wonderful LGBTQ bar with pool table and skee ball. Casper is an amazing bartender and the vibe is great.

Chuck and Dave are amazing. Felt like my bar back home the minute I walked in. Husband and I will visit again.

This place is so comfortable. Great people and great staff. We have been taking a lot of people and they have had wonderful things to say about it.
