Topside at the Beacon

My boyfriend and I decided to try out this restaurant, we sat outside on the top deck at the railings, looking at the lighthouse. The view was great, but anytime we wanted to order something we had to go to the bar. We were told by the host and the bartenders that where we were sitting was full bar service and that they would come up to us, but they never did. We ordered food and drinks by walking up to the bar and even had to send back a very burnt octopus appetizer.. Bartenders and servers never came up to us and didnt even greet us. We had to even walk up to the bar to get our receipt. The only person that came to us was the food runner. And we were there for an hour and 20 minutes. Hillary and the bar crew today were just on their phones and talking to each other behind the bar, ignoring the staff on the top deck that from what I saw at other tables needed drinks to be refilled and needed service all around. The bar crew today was too comfortable and could care less about giving good service and as customers we definitely felt it. Definitely won’t be coming back with the lack of service.

5 freakin stars. $10 smash burger and happy hour margs ?? Fresh lime juice NO mixer. This bar is amazing. THE VIEW is the best in Jupiter . And even more incredible if Jake is your server.

Excuse the half empty marg in the pic. It was delicious so I started drinking it before I thought to take a pic. Awesome location, views and vibes. The best part though is definitely the service. Everyone was very nice but our server Jake was THAT DUDE! Gave us his insider tips on the menu and what to get and did not disappoint. Also just a great guy. Make sure you ask for Jake when you’re being seated and you’re sure to have a 12/10 experience at Topside.

Incredible time. View was awesome. Apps & Cocktails were great. Jake waited on us at the high top and was excellent. He gave great recommendations for the apps. Kyle served us at the bar first. He made something special with a local liqueur he was all fired up about. It was the perfect Jupiter Happy Hour experience...looking at the light house, with great food and great people.

It goes without saying the view is spectacular. But the staff really makes it special. Bartenders are outstanding. Friendly and knowledgeable. Food is tasty. Happy hour specials are amazing.

I had an amazing experience during happy hour at this bar! Kyle (there are 2) both were absolutely fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the drinks. He crafted some of the best cocktails we’ve ever had, and his upbeat attitude really made the visit special. We left extremely happy and will definitely be coming back on a regular basis. Highly recommend stopping by, especially when Kyle is behind the bar! 🍹✨

Jake was hands-down one of the best servers we’ve ever had! From the moment we sat down at Topside, he was incredibly friendly, upbeat, and attentive. He knew the menu inside and out, gave awesome recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect the entire time. Our drinks never went empty, the food was spot on, and his positive attitude made the whole experience even better. Even when it got busy, Jake stayed on top of everything and made us feel like a priority. Service like this is rare- he truly went above and beyond. We’ll 100% be back and will definitely be asking for Jake again!
