Howl at the Moon Kansas City

It was a generally good vibe with a mix of all ages. Good drinks that were kind of underhanded but I digress. I had an issue with the band who played 2/27 as they were not playing songs we paid to hear ($5). All good I know it gets busy but if you’re going to charge for requests you should probably play them. Just a tad annoying but overall fun vibe.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Howl at the Moon – Kansas City If you ever find yourself in Kansas City and want a night packed with music, energy, and pure fun—Howl at the Moon is the place! 🎹🎸🥁 I stopped in on a Wednesday night (yes, Wednesday), and the place was absolutely buzzing! Turns out, a few conferences were in town—including ours—and this spot was clearly the crowd favorite. The performers? Unreal. Five insanely talented musicians trading off between keyboards, guitars, bass, drums, and vocals like a well-oiled rock-and-roll machine. Every song was a crowd-pleaser, and the audience was all in from start to finish. Even with the place packed, the bar staff didn’t miss a beat—fast, friendly, and flawless under pressure. I brought about 25 people from our BRMConnect conference, and everyone was blown away. Between the music, the dancing, and the non-stop good vibes, it was hands-down one of the highlights of our trip. Huge shout-out to the Howl at the Moon crew—musicians and staff alike—for making a Wednesday night feel like a Saturday party. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in town! 🎶🔥

Went for the drinks… stayed for the entertainment! Our waitress, Winter… good lord she was the best!! Always dancing, always smiling… not just with us, but ALL her customers!! Just an absolute dream to work with! 10/10 would recommend! A great time!!

I used to love this place so much. Always a great time. But the last few times we've been in, we've been served by someone named Laura who clearly has a chip on her shoulder. I just can't have fun when someone is walking around with RBF and acting like we don't matter. And it wasn't just us. We could tell that other people were displeased. We even talked to a couple other tables about it. One time she was at the bar (we were trying to avoid her!) and it was just as bad if not worse. We've mostly always had great service outside of this one person bringing our night down. Probably won't be back for a while, and when we do it will just be to pop and and make sure she's gone. And if I never see her face again, I'm back to loving HATM!

My coworkers and I had been excited to visit because the marketing girl is always friendly and invites us in. We found a table, enjoyed the live music, and watched people let loose. Everything was great until we tried to use our free bucket pass. The bartender was extremely rude and angry toward us for having the passes and told us we couldn’t use them. When we asked our server who the manager was, she said she was the manager. It was a humiliating experience and has made us hesitant to return.

Very electric and vibrant atmosphere. Carry an ID as showing it is mandatory to enter. During the weekend, one can enter the raffle draw which gives them a chance to win a vip pass for a $1.

Fun piano bar, they did a great job with the requests and getting the crowd involved. Loved the energy and kindness of the staff. We were there with a birthday party and a great time was had by all. They do a nice job of recognizing the celebrations from birthdays, to anniversaries to bachelorette parties to divorce parties.
