The bartenders were attentive and friendly. I like the music (karaoke), but everyone there could sing! It's not your average, drunk night karaoke vibe, it's better. Love that the music doesn't drown out conversation. Atmosphere is warm and very inviting.

The experience at the slam poetry event was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, creating the perfect setting for an enjoyable evening. The people in attendance were friendly and engaging, adding to the overall positive vibe of the event. The food and drinks served were delicious, and the staff members were not only pleasant but also very polite, ensuring that every guest felt welcome and taken care of. It was truly a memorable and delightful experience, and I can't wait to come back in the future.

First off, I LOVE that this place is black owned! It’s downtown, which most folks are skeptical of…but, no worries! Alexander’s is a laid back, "homey" atmosphere. The drinks were strong and well worth the price. The owners are kind and the music/dj is on point! The karaoke was fun and inviting! We were jammin! It’s a wonderful environment and I hope more black folks support this business!
