Best dive bar in La Mesa! Very affordable drinks in a clean, safe and fun environment. Very friendly bartenders and very clean establishment. Doesn’t even feel like a dive bar. There are two pool tables and a outdoor seating area in the back. Easy street parking.

Got lost in La Mesa, parked and asked someone were I could get a cold beer. They printed east a few blocks down to Pete's. No idea what I was going to see...it was a gem! One of the best bars I have discovered in many places. The moment I walked in I felt welcomed and everything else fell in place. Had some great cold beers and the service was excelent! Will come back for sure!!!!

Such a cool dive bar with insanely reasonable prices. TVs all around for Padres games and pool tables as well. I can definitely see this place get a little packed during the busier nights but all around a spot worth visiting and having a drink or two. A lot of cool spots nearby to grab a bite after too.

This place is everything, what a great environment, great people and the bar tender was a whole vibe. I definitely recommend this bar if your in the area.

The staff are friendly and there are many regulars who go here. Great atmosphere. I drive for Lyft during nighttime hours and I frequently pick up passengers from here. I’ve also had to run in and ask to use the restroom and they let me. The restrooms were very clean and well maintained.

This bar is open every single day of the year and is a great local spot.
